A Wind Mitigation Inspection is actually a windstorm analysis of the home. It reports certain mitigating features of the home's construction that reduce the amount of damage that a house may suffer in the event of a hurricane or strong windstorm. These features and construction measures can grant a homeowner substantial discounts on their insurance premiums which will continue each year, depending on what features exist.
If you are the owner of a newly constructed home, it most likely has a 1 year warranty from the Builder. Our 11 Month Warranty Inspection will report any deficiencies that exist or have shown up since your closing. This is very much like a Full Service Inspection, with an additional option to include a Cosmetic Inspection & Report that will highlight as many esthetic faults as we can find.

Hm... Deleted his profile to refresh his review 10 months ago. I do not recommend this inspector. His style is cut and paste reporting. He approved a home that had ungrounded and grounded wiring. I have an electrician that came in and said there are a lot of safety issues, if he had even pulled out the breaker box he would see to not approve a home. This home cannot be sold as is, and we bought it because he approved it but this inspector did not do his job properly. Stay away. You have been warned.
