Our Intro to Small Group Training Program includes 3 small group training sessions a week for 3 weeks - for only $179. The trainers at Active Age Fitness are experts on aging and functional fitness. They are all certified through an NCCA organization and more importantly - are all certified Functional Aging Specialists through the Functional Aging Institute.

They are always learning. Active Age Fitness continually seeks out scientifically-based, proven methodologies to inform its training methods. Its training programs use methods from the Functional Movement Screen, Smart Group Training, and FallProof systems. If you aren't moving well now, you aren't going to be moving well later in life as you age.

A safe place to exercise without hurting yourself. The training is focused with ongoing instruction. They also offer balance exercises and now I can do some of these exercises that I could not do a month ago.

Best program I've ever been in for custom-tailored training at a fair price. Unlike the larger, commercial gyms, the staff in this privately-owned gem knows you and cares about you. I've improved in strength, balance, and functionality in the year I've participated. Beyond that, this program helped me commit to attending and doing the work. … The staff are knowledgeable and attentive. The program is flexible enough to accommodate work schedules, vacations, and personal requests. There's no need to figure out how to work those machines because there are none. Working out with Dina has been great. I have been going to Active Age for over a year and a half. The workouts are challenging and Dina customizes the workout to your level, so they stay challenging as you get stronger. I have seen a lot of improvement in my strength and flexibility as well as increased muscle tone. I enjoy the small group… settings – I like having it in my schedule so I am less likely to skip a class, but Dina also offers flexibility in making up classes when I do miss. The environment is also great – very supportive and fun group.

Dina, my fitness trainer at Active Age Fitness, is awesome. She offers a great program that is tailored to focus on our age group, mature adults. The workout is geared to focus on our individual needs but in a small group setting. 30 minute workouts so packed full of great exercises that the time flies by and before I know it the session is over!… I have been working out with Dina for just over a year. I have really enjoyed working with Dina at Active Age Fitness in Sunnyvale. I have been on the 3 times per week program for a few months now. I have gotten a lot of help, attention, and encouragement from Dina that is very valuable. She has helped me to set goals around things like activity level, diet, calorie intake vs. burning, and weight. I… have definitely improved in many areas and still have some goals/objectives that are out there and still to meet. Dina is also patient, but with a good ability to push as needed and a great sense of humor. She also takes the time and effort to customize
