Ironwill Extreme Fitness
In the early 2000's Chris Green saw an opportunity to disrupt. The gyms of the time were not addressing the problems of their communities. Local corporate gyms had three weak points: Burnout, Direction, and Community. The alternative that Chris came up with was Ironwill Fitness Bootcamps. He created a workout at a friendly place where people can get a top-level, interactive workouts at a reasonable price.

In 2009 Chris started Ironwill Fitness to fill these needs. Our bodies are meant to move, jump lift, throw and climb. Tragically, many of us have adopted a lifestyle that does not require much movement. As a result, our bodies gain weight and our mental state starts to operate at a decreased level.

This gym is not for everyone. Particularly if you want to just do cardio whenever, don't like training hard for great results, or want the shiniest equipment out there. Don't get me wrong, if your willing to do some hard work, go! The owner well meet you where you're at. In fact, I got about ten minutes of individual attention on my form the first class. I was also sore for several days afterwords. The owner strikes a good balance of pushing you and being generous. Recommend!

The 6am weekday class is how I start my day! It's pretty awesome since you no longer have to worry about it for the rest of the day. I have been a member of this place for almost three years. I am really happy how the programs here transformed me. Chris and Achintya are great coaches.

Huge thank you to Chris at ironwill. I was out in CA for a really fast business trip. I reached out and Chris immediately responded. I was interested in getting a workout in while I was here. Chris welcomed me with open arms and had me dripping sweat by the end. It was a great workout. I would love to go back next time I'm in CA.

I recently started coming to Ironwill and I have been really impressed with this place so far. Chris (owner) is a great guy and was very helpful to me as a CrossFit n00b to ensure I could get the right training and that I'm doing okay in each class.

The way this works is that you start with a Fundamentals course (3 total classes) where you are taught the main lifts. This is all about getting used to the movements and understanding the right form.

From there you are allowed to jump right into classes. The schedule is available online. No signups needed, you just show up. The workouts

The exercise class is really great. Burn the calories and the coaches are very nice guys. They even have a free trial first week. Just come and see how you feel and decide whether you want to pay after the first week. Highly recommend.

A solid gym with a great group of people. Essentially a mix between a Crossfit workout and bootcamp workout, hitting a good mix of cardio and Olympic weightlifting. Love the morning class at 6:30am.

There is no chance to get bored of exercise.
It's a team work, unlike going to gym and lifting alone.
I like a lot. I came on Business visa. I had a good time with Ironwill....
Thanks to chris and billy for helping me.

Bored of the gym or same routine?
Join the X-fit Boot camp work out . The instructor is Chris and he's a great trainer. Its make things easier when someone motivates and helps you like he does. My boyfriend and I recently join for the package for two, we pay $150 a month for 1 year its a little expensive compare to the gym but this is like having a trainer every time we workout. Great, right? Everyday is a different workout which is great! The work outs are intense but its so worth it!

Have been working out at Ironwill fitness for around 3 months. Chris is amazing. He is natural when helping beginners, correcting their form, encouraging them, cheering them up. He designs the workout to push the group to the extreme, while helping them remain injury free, which is very important to me. Chris has always been there if I wanted advice on weight loss and strengthening. I have had great results from the workout. I have lost weight, am stronger and more energetic(the soreness from the workouts has been harsh, but that is always welcome). Chris takes care to maintain the atmosphere

Ironwill Extreme Fitness improved my lifting form so that I could lift more safely, and reach my fitness goals faster.

Additionally, the group workouts - designed by professional coaches with top-level competitive athletics experience - are a fun approach to getting into shape, and are scaled so everyone can participate and achieve fast results. This is a great gym, focussed on achieving measurable results, with a team atmosphere that makes exercising fun and effective.

I have been working out at Ironwill for about two months. Ironwill (formerly XFit) has moved around a lot and now is located in a back room of the Supreme Court Athletic Club on Mathilda Ave.

If you are looking for a gym with gleaming rows of equipment, look elsewhere. That isn't what this is about. This is crossfit style, so expect a workout of the day with weights, kettlebells, situps, box jumps and the like. Chris, the owner, is passionate about his clients and his business and is there every single night. He tailors every workout to every client.

Yes, it costs more than 24 hour fitness

They will really test your limits, It's not your ordinary gym. They take the monotony out of your daily workout, the variation in workouts can really challenge your body in ways you won't imagine, muscle groups you didn't even know existed! The workouts are fun yet intense and again differ each day which is my cup of tea since I get bored pretty easily. Another plus for me is the efficiency of the workouts, since I work full time like most people I don't have the extra few hours to spend in a gym everyday so these sweet and short workouts leave me some precious time left in

This class is AWESOME! I look forward to the challenges and dynamic workouts that Chris provides every day. I have been going for about 5 months now and the benefits and changes have been priceless. Now when I go on hikes my boyfriend comments about how sweet my heiny looks :) I also have noticed a great deal of toning in my legs and arms, I have received several comments on how awesome my shoulders and legs look and how I feel overall.

I wear a heart rate monitor when I workout and throughout the workout from the beginning warm up to the WOD my heart rate is up there and burning calories, makes

I just started going to x-fit classes with Chris and I am very impressed.

I enjoy the class setting and I am very happy that I found this place. The classes are cross training and so far so good. Chris is a great trainer and very knowledgeable. I can't wait to see the final results. The pain is harsh, but I know that the work out is helping me achieve my goal!

I will definitely keep using X-fit and Chris to improve my overall fitness level.

X-FIT changed my life! :) sounds cheesy, but it's true.

if you've been searching for a dynamic fitness solution, you MUST try this program. chris green is the brains and trainer behind x-fit and is will work with each individual to target their fitness needs and goals.

the vibe at x-fit is contagious and everyone is totally encouraging, motivating and ready to push themselves to the limit.

chris is extremely helpful and welcomes visitors. i guarantee that if you try x-fit out, you'll want to come back for more. it hurts SO good and is a workout unlike any other!

I took a free class here with my hubby, and we both really enjoyed it.

I didn't know what to expect, since I had heard that Crossfit was kind of a cult...Not so,at least not here!

The instructor we had was really cool, and very understanding about my knee problems. He was encouraging to everyone, (without being patronizing or anything like that.)

He even took one girl aside that was having major difficulty, and got her going again.

All the people in the class were really friendly, and fun to team up with.

I think we may eventually join this group.
In all honestly, the class wasn

A serious place for those who want a serious workout. No meat market here! Ironwill is in the business of changing people's bodies. No gimmicks and no bs. Just a good ol fashioned boot camp style work out. The instructors are very patient and knowledgeable. The other students are very nice and encouraging.
