We stayed here for 3 nights/4 days. The hotel was extremely accommodating and held our luggage, as we arrived early and checkout was 2 hours before we needed to leave.
The staff (all of them) were marvelous and really made us feel special. We especially greatly appreciated the complimentary upgrade to our room, as it was our son’s first visit to NY. He was blown away by the size of the room (presidential suite). The steam shower was amazing and the bed and pillows were comfortable! The room was very clean and room service was fantastic. We would absolutely stay here again without a doubt. The

Elegant, cozy, quiet, and in a great location. The bed was so comfy, service was friendly and professional, always someone there to open the door and greet you but without the fuss and bustle of a bigger hotel. The tiled bathroom was beautiful and had it's own temp control. We loved our stay and will definitely come back!

The BEST hotel to stay in if you’re visiting NYC! It is minutes from Time Square with everything else that you would want to visit if you’re coming to New York. The staff is EXTREMELY nice and welcoming especially Charlie. The rooms are very clean and elegant. A huge bonus is how comfortable the bed is. They offer a coffee bar in the morning for a few hours and there is a valet. There is a parking garage located at 50 West 44th Street called “Edison Park Fast”. The walking exit of this garage opens up right across the street from the hotel. I would recommend making the reservation for your

Super safe, convenient location. In between Times Square and the NY Public library. Rooms are small (typical in NYC) but adequate and nicely furnished. Photos online are very representational of your room.
One note, if you are a heavier person, the toilet may be tight for you. It is between the wall and sink and if you are tight in airplane seats, you will be tight on their toilet, fyi. Otherwise, hotel was just perfect for our needs and priced well. Very clean, bed was comfy and bath had soap, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, shower cap and hairdryer provided.
No fridge, which would have been

This is a beautiful boutique hotel in an absolutely perfect location. You can get anywhere in town within 20 minutes. They currently have no restraunt and their coffee cart is only setup a few hours in the morning. There is no coffee pot in the room, a definite minus. The rooms are small but comfortable, and the water pressure is not so good. Everyone working at the hotel was wonderful and very helpful. There is a coffee shop across the street that is open until 6 I think, but also a cafe called the red flame just down the street. We ate breakfast there every day we were there. Everything was very

This is our first time visiting NYC and we are glad we chose Iroquois for our stay. I had a special request and Charlie was kind enough to service that . The rooms are small but they have everything almost everything that you need for the stay (no microwave ) Extra points for the bathroom decor . Housekeeping is prompt , they offer complementary breakfast voucher at the diner next door on Sunday and Monday. The other days they Offer fruits And yoghurt/muffin . Coffee is available in the lobby. There are also complementary water bottles at the front desk which they are happy to hand out when requested

Underrated hotel. Staff members were helpful and friendly, the room clean and cozy. Bed was very comfortable and the shower was spacious for a New York hotel. The toiletries were actually nice too which is a nice touch that I've never experienced before at a place so affordable (also heated floor). They gave us a voucher for free breakfast at the Red Flame Diner next door and the limited/free menu for hotel guests was actually great and had a good variety from eggs with potatoes and toast to yogurt and fresh fruit. Food was delicious and service was great. The gym was a good size and had a

One of the best locations for a hotel, close to tourist sites! An amazing experience here and would without hesitation recommend it. The staff was pleasant, accommodating, and tended to all our needs. They managed to take care of problems quickly and were very nice about it. The lobby, hallway, and room are maintained well and clean. If you're looking for a great hotel this one will for sure meet your expectations.

It has really nice location 7 minutes from Times Square. The rooms are nice, everything is clean. They have everything you need in the hotel room. When you go to the lobby, it smells nice. The front desk team is friendly and nice.
We stayed in a deluxe room with a king-size bed. It was an amazing experience, the bed was super comfortable. If you have never been to NYC before, it probably will be the best option because it is close enough to all touristy places. At the same time, it is far enough from Times Square noises.

My partner and I are from a different state and decided to stay at the Iroquois Hotel for our anniversary trip as my partner had a positive experience here from a prior business trip a few years back. Due to the circumstances, we both agreed we will not be returning due to the lack of concern about cleanliness for their patrons.

My partner and I stayed for 2 nights, from Friday (6/11) to Sunday (6/13). We checked in on Friday for early check-in. Our room was ready as soon as we arrived, which was great! The front desk did a great job explaining the fees and what amenities were open to us as guests

Highly recommend as a great place to call home when you're visiting NYC.

The hotel room was very clean. The sheets were more spotless than I've ever seen before. The towels smelled a little musty (maybe no one had been in this room in awhile) but were still very clean as well. Spacious shower but very small toilet area. Had a large closet as well!

There was a parking garage across the street so that was super convenient and you can reserve it ahead of time. Close to Times Square if that's where you want to be!

Staff at the front desk were very nice.

We would stay here again

There are lots of “4-star” hotels. This one gets 5 from me because it’s a great balance of space and people. The staff was incredible. They were very gracious and easy to be with.
The king room on the top floor was perfect. Overpriced mini bar but who cares. Basic room but super comfortable where it counts.
I’d stay here again for sure.

I was in Manhattan to attend my daughter's art show and to celebrate our birthdays. While the room could have been quite cozy, my stay devolved into a horrible experience when I woke up with extensive bed bug bites and intense itching. Upon examining the sheets, I noticed the tell-tale signs of small spots of blood. I brought my concerns to the hotel's management and was assured that someone would be in touch with me. I've yet to hear back from anyone. This really put a damper on what should have been a pleasant trip.

I stayed at one of their largest suites. It's advertised as being over 700 sqft and I believe it. It was a great deal and I'd highly recommend it.

Some notes:
1. Both the tub and shower had hand held units. That's super convenient for washing your kids!

2. Look, you're staying near Times Square. It's going to be noisy. But because the hotel isn't that tall, even a high floor is going to be a bit noisy. I've heard you need to be 20 floors+ above to minimize the noise of sirens, honking, trucks with protest messages on loud speakers, drunk partiers, and more

We love this hotel!! We checked in a bit early and headed to lunch at db moderne, which was epic, btw. We were in and out, each time the doorman recognized us and welcomed us back. Got offered drinks and snacks when we returned from the theatre...lovely. When we finally came in for the night, we requested beverages to take up. Mama got Prosecco and son got a Coke. Free. Nice!! The staff interacted with us in a lovely way, making our stay just that much more memorable. It was appreciated!! Got recommendations for breakfast tomorrow, too.

This is a beautiful hotel, well appointed- here

The Iroquois is an older small hotel in NY, not far from Times Square, often described as "historic" though nothing of historical interest seems to have happened there -- except that James Dean lived there for two years in the fifties.

Our experience of the hotel included:

1 - excellent and friendly staff
2 - small and undistinguished public spaces
3 - a small, well-appointed, and clean room
4 - the only window faced a brick wall with almost no natural light entering the room (like an underground hotel room)

Because of the risk of encountering #4 again, we won't be going back

The Iroquois is my favorite kind of hotel - an establishment with history and character but also modern appointments.

We booked a Superior Room with a queen bed through Hotels.com. We got a rate under $200, including taxes and fees, which compares favorably to similar hotels in the area. Booking through Hotels.com also meant that we were greeted with a free demi bottle of French wine and local chocolate when we arrived in our room, which was a solid perk.

You can't beat the location of the Iroquois, which is within easy walking distance of Grand Central (even with bags) and Broadway theaters

This is my favorite hotel in New York City. I'm almost reluctant to say so, other than it's already well known and popular. The rooms aren't huge, but they're well appointed, immaculately kept up, and obviously run by some wonderfully OCD people who set a high bar for themselves. It's a great location, whether you're going to a pitch meeting on 6th Ave, shopping, or catching a play in the heart of Times Square. It's on a uniquely quiet block, relative to New York.

The staff is friendly and helpful, well above the norm of most midtown hotels of its size-class

Just left our 3 night stay at The Iroquois and it was great.

What made our stay so great:

- Staff was so friendly and helpful. Cleaning services came twice a day, once to clean and refresh linens, and once to give a weather notice for the next day and chocolates. The room was always clean.

- The bathroom supplies were nice. I always bring my own shampoo and conditioner but this trip I forgot it and theirs was fine on my hair (color treated, and long). Blow dryer also worked well for a hotel blow dryer.

- Location was ideal. Just a short walk to the heart of Times Square, Madison Avenue,

Hotels get torn apart on Yelp, so any hotel that has a 4+ rating, book it no questions asked. My wife, newborn daughter, and I stayed here for one night in March 2017 and would recommend it to anyone willing to pay NYC hotel prices ($250+ a night). Here's why:

1) Location: The Iroquois Hotel is in a small historic building in the Theater District. It's two blocks from a beautiful park, Bryant Park, and 3-4 blocks from Times Square. Even though you're so close to the bright lights and crowds of tourists, you still feel like you're in your own neighborhood.

2) Service: If the
