We had a townhouse in Durham. When we moved to Virginia in 2012, we hired another agent (not Chilon) to manage the property.

I called and emailed to see a rental property, they asked me to send a few documents via email to make an appointment. When I sent the documents they said "their showings agent would reach out." The days went by and they never called back. It is a tight market, I get it. Rental companies get many calls and emails, I get it. Agents are busy during the day, I get it. But asking for copies of documents agreeing to come back with a date for the showing but never calling back is super unprofessional and just disrespectful. They could easily set a date to have everyone interested in the property come

Chilon and her team are amazing. As an investor and realtor, we have tried other options previously to select tenants for our homes and found that we were very disappointed. We then met with Chilon and she took the time to explain the care and strategy that they use for their application process. Even though it is a rental, she treats all her properties professionally in making sure the home is completely ready before she markets the property. Making sure all repairs have been completed, cleaned professionally and hires a professional photographer. I also love that she never puts signs in the yard

Was working with a realtor who scheduled a showing they told her they had a lot of applicants to fill out application so I did. As soon as I paid them the fee they cancelled my showing and never responded back. Idc about the apartment but give me my money back. Talk about a scam!!!! I am from out of state and this is shady business going on beware. If you call they don’t answer the phone ever.

After selling our home in another state our family decided to rent. I wanted to wait to write a review of this management company because I felt only time would tell how our rental experience was going to be. Six months in and we are very satisfied! We rented our home sight unseen except for what was represented online. Thankfully this home was recently upgraded, freshly painted and was better in person than pictured.

Best in Class Property Manager!! I've been working with Chilon and her Team at Above All for the past 5 years. Communication is great, tenants are found quickly, listings are professional, and the interests of tenants and landlord are looked after in a fair manner. I was blessed to have this team help me through the flurry of insurance paperwork and tenant issues when a Hurricane damaged my rental property. In contrast, AAPM's application was full of technical errors (for example, it could not be submitted with blank fields, even fields that were non-mandatory or that had no information to disclose). We rented from Above All Property Management for two years and by the end of our lease, were very disappointed in how they conducted business. When we were first looking to rent, they were very prompt and friendly in returning phone calls and answering questions. They were very helpful in the lease signing process as well. But as repair issues would arise throughout our time there, it would take them days upon weeks to follow up. When questioned, many excuses and reasons would be provided.
