We believe that kids at this age need to learn how to balance, weight bear, Run, and jump, as well as our basic martial arts techniques.

At Dragon Gate Martial Arts Academy in Oakdale NY we call our 4,5, and 6-year-olds Mighty Dragons. Kids at this age have a great amount of energy and we like to harness that into positive results that carry over to everyday life. Our Mighty Dragons program will keep your child moving from start to finish.
This is more than just a karate school. I can't say enough about dragon gate. The owners are amazing people who truly care about what they do and the results are fantastic. They do so many family activities and take training in martial arts to another level altogether. You couldn't ask for better instructors.

Left my debit card in an ATM machine in East Islip and without knowing this I received a friendly VM from the owner Mike. I highly recommend a business with such high integrity . If he can take care of a stranger I am sure he is looking out for his customers . I wish I knew of this ownership and business when my kids needed extra activity . Thank you Mike from one business owner to another !
