Services
Master Francisco Mansor (sometimes mentioned as Mansur) is a jiu jitsu red belt (9th degree) who was awarded his instructor's degree by the late Master Helio Gracie (one of only 6 men outside the Gracie family to receive the rank by Helio), being also regarded as one of the most respected men in the sport/martial art.

Our son has been practicing Brazilian Jujitsu at the Kioto Academy since he was 3 years old. He has come such a long way and has learned so much within the past 10 years. He has suffered from asthma for most of his life so outdoor sports was not an option. We decided to enroll him in the academy not fully understanding the benefits of this practice. It was the best decision my husband and I ever made for him. Brazilian Jujitsu has not only made our son physically stronger, but it also built his self-confidence and most of all, self-discipline.

This is by far the best Brazilian Jiu Jitsu school on Long Island. A traditional school focused on developing technical skill through hard work and discipline (belts are earned not given), but always welcoming and warm. A heartfelt hello and a message of happy birthday are standard fare at the school. Reasonably priced, even the children's classes are taught by 6th degree black belt, Professor Milton Regis, a 2x Masters IBJJF World Champion! Since we started at Kioto we have seen our daughter's BJJ skills improve and her self confidence increase. I would highly recommend Kioto to anyone looking

At this school you will find an authentic BJJ experience. We are taught by a Brazilian 6th degree black belt, Professor Milton Regis de Almeida. Not only does he bring a lifetime of skills, but he also teaches dedication, discipline, and strength-building(both physical and mental). The school is clean, safe, and well-maintained. It fosters a sense of family, and belonging. Kioto BJJ is a time-honored system, and must be experienced!

Most amazing jiu jitsu training with the best teachers in the art! My boys have flourished under their training. They do things I would have never thought they could do. I am so impressed every time I see all the kids fight. My one son, who has some developmental delays, has been growing so amazingly and Professors have been wonderful with him. They truly love and care for the kids. This place is a family. There is no place better than Kioto.

Professors Milton and Melissa Regis are as world class as you’re gonna find on Long Island, which is along with Southern California, the capital of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in the US. I personally have been training in the Kioto System for many years now and my children have been for 3 years this fall. I can’t begin to express the confidence Kioto has instilled in my children. The camaraderie at Kioto is like nothing I have experienced, from HS sports to fraternal organizations. Kioto is our home away from home and I consider all my training partners family!!

I'm blessed to have such a wonderful place to train. Professor Milton Regis is very professional and knowledgeable. It's a wonderful family atmosphere. Adults class for men and women of any age. Kids classes for all ages are available. They have Womens only Self defense class too. The place is very clean and organized. I've been training with Professor Milton sense 2009.

Over the weekend my Son was invited by his Professor Milton Regis de Almeida to cross train at another Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Academy. My Son Logan (12 years old) noticed how special his Professor was treated. Logan said everyone treated Professor Milton like a King! Logan said it was like a Rockstar walked in. Deservingly so, the man is a multi World Champion! The thing that stood out to me and made me realize I have my Son at the right Academy was Logan also noticed how humble and kind Professor Milton was to everyone! I told my Son that's why you train at Kioto. I told Logan as your skills

Kioto is such a great family oriented BJJ studio. Milton and Melissa are wonderful, informative instructors for my 4 year old. They really get through to the class in a way that these little kids understand and are able to apply their lessons effectively. It's so much fun to watch and to also see my son gain defensive skills and confidence. We have a long future ahead of us with Kioto.

Kioto BJJ South Shore is a fantastic school with high level Brazilian Jiu Jitsu instruction. Professor Milton and Ms. Melissa are encouraging and passionate instructors. I can not say enough GREAT things about Kioto Brazilian jiu jitsu!! Professor Milton and Miss Melissa are great! My son is 5 years old and loves it!! It's such a warm loving environment for the kids but they also learn respect and discipline! It's fantastic!! I could go on all day about how wonderful it al is!! My son will be going here for a very long time!!
