Busto's Tiny Tigers are tomorrow's future! This age-specific karate class for students ages three to four has been specially designed to meet the physical, mental and emotional needs of growing pre-schoolers. At this young age, there are few activities that can benefit your child's development as effectively as martial arts.
Our Tigers Program for students ages five to seven is the continuation of our acclaimed Tiny Tigers Program. We expand our age-appropriate self defense techniques & drills, focusing on beneficial skills for school-age children including self-discipline, focus & patience. Enrolling your child in our Tigers Program will also help them establish healthy fitness habits at an early age, which is more important than ever before.

Absolutely wonderful martial arts introduction for kids. My son generally stays away from physical activities, this is the only one he actually looks forward to attending.
While kids train to overcome challenges in karate, parents can train on the challenges in the parking lot to become massively better at maneuvering their vehicles.

My son joined Busto's early this year. He was having an absolute blast and was so bummed when the pandemic shut everything down. We called the dojo earlier today and asked about their protocols and precautions with reopening. We felt confident in what they are doing and decided to try going back today and give it a test run. I am beyond happy that we did- I was very comfortable and we will confidently return regularly. My son it thrilled to finally be back there. I highly recommend Busto's. I can’t say enough good things about Busto’s. My son Joseph has been going to Busto’s since March and I am blown away by the commitment, professionalism and caring nature of the staff. My son loves going to karate and has grown so much since we began just a few months ago. He always has fun but learns so much each class. My son takes classes here and we absolutely love how involved the staff and owner are in teaching the kids and keeping them active. We love it so much that I started taking classes myself. The classes are fantastic and a great mix of the fundamentals as well as some advanced concepts broken down so that anyone (white belts included) can participate. I highly recommend Busto's!

I cannot speak more highly of Busto’s Karate. Shihan Busto and his staff are all amazing people. We signed up our son for a trial at the end of April. He instantly fell in love with it and has become one of their most dedicated students. They may even see him a little too much . But seriously, it is all because of the people that work at Busto’s. They are all friendly, welcoming and willing to take the time to work with each student to get the best out of them. Each stripe received by the student is EARNED and it is that feeling of accomplishment that makes them want to strive for more.

Both my daughter and I have trained elsewhere in different styles of martial arts but Busto's is the best by far! Individualized training based on ability is the standard here. Amazing curriculum that is clearly disseminated so you know exactly what you need to know in order to progress. Knowledgeable staff that teaches with care and laughter. Busto's has truly made martial arts fun again!

My daughters, 3 and 5, both go. It's literally my older daughter's favorite thing to do. She goes three to four days per week for upwards of four hours per day, and will be having her birthday party there next month. It's not cheap, but then, nothing here is. I'd highly recommend. The senseis are excellent, and Shihan John is fantastic. They always have a deal for a month or six weeks for $100 that comes with the uniform to assess whether your kid will enjoy it.

Great karate studio. My kids have been going to Busto's for over a year now. Nothing but good things to say about the place. Besides karate they have three family events during the year, Bowling, Movies, and summer picnic at Bethpage State park. The kids are socializing, exercising, and learning self-defense all at once can't ask for more.
