I was new to the state of Delaware and I didn’t know who these people were and have actually never heard about them until I rented a unit in Middletown Delaware but every time their name came up in a conversation, there were sly remarks about them which I just brushed off because there was no elaboration. I would always get asked: “ You never heard of the Capano's?!?” 👀 Everywhere I went in Delaware the conversation was identical"Where are you from, where do live? Oh, A Capan...

Very rude deceptive company. I am currently being held against my will at the reserve at south ridge by an unfair leasing contract. The manager here won’t let me out of the lease fairly and now I have to go to the court house and try to get out by court order. I don’t feel safe here. I have a lot of anxiety. I’m going to call the local news station to see if they can help me by airing my story. If anything happens to me my family will sue Capano. If I have to see a psychiatrist to cope with being forced to live here , I’m going to sue Capano for my psychiatrist fees

Please don’t waste your time spending a large portion of your salary benefiting a million dollar leasing agency that really doesn’t care about its tenants. I previously lived in a complex where I could call the leasing office and they would always have my best interest in mind. I have had many security issues over the past few months with Capano and none of them have been resolved. It is a very unfortunate situation to feel unsafe in an environment that could easily be safe. When calling about emergency situations, phones are rarely answered or returned. Please keep this in mind when renting

I have been renting from them for a few years. I have always paid my rent on time even when people couldn’t during the onset of Covid 19 pandemic. I’m having problems with my central air unit, and the maintenance told us that the manager Michelle does not want to spend the money to get a new one if needed. Maintenance have been out here twice to fix but it keeps going out and I have a small business making and selling natural hair care products that needs to be in a cool environment. I’m trying to see if I can sue the company if my ingredients and inventory goes bad. Think it’s really time

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY AT ALL!! If you can avoid Capano Residential, despite the fact that they have basically purchased most of the affordable apartments in DE, DO SO!!! Me and my partner applied for one of their residence (Aspen Run), paid all associated fees and provided a deposit for "holding" purposes...... Despite having great credit and sustainable income... We were denied..... that's not my discrepancy... It's the fact that it's been almost 2 months since our denial and we STILL have not received our "holding" deposit back. $300 isn't much but during an epidemic it's not appropriate

I lived at Valley Stream Apartments/500 Valley Stream Dr. Newark DE for almost 4 years.
I couldn't ask for a better place. From the PM (Tiffany Justice) to Sasha Montgomery and the rest of the staff including the maintenance crew (Cliff) I can only say thank you. You always made sure that my questions/requests were promptly addressed. I really can't thank you enough, and I hope to keep in touch.

I have had a very pleasant experience in Valley Stream Townhomes. Before we moved in all the flooring was updated and even a few modern light fixtures were installed. Maintenance has been quick to respond which can now be requested via the APP as well as payment so I never have to worry about dropping off a check. Michelle Lehman worked with us later in the day to ensure that we could find the perfect family rental. I would highly recommend!

We 2nd those comments made about The Preserve at Deacons walk. Plus some. We have unfortunately been here since it was the Bluffs for 5 yrs and thought Rimsi was bad but the manager and the same Amanda that answers the phones have been nothing but rude to us with NO EMPATHY, SYMPATHY ETC. OF any situation going on at out apartment and the community. NO security, even after a resident got held at gun point 1.5 yrs ago and was going to be forced in apt and taped. Several tenants went to them with concern and NOTHING. Not to mention of exposed nails, staples, tripping hazards in the halls. We have

I am writing this review as a visitor. I went to visit my cousin at their Middletown property and the complex and apartments are very nice. The issue I had was she let me stay in her master bedroom so I could have my privacy which was backed up to the outside staircase and mailboxes. Oh my Lord, I could hear every person come in and out of the building on those stairs. They definitely need to do something about that. My sleep was constantly disturbed. I asked her about it and she said she was told there is nothing that can be done about it. I was like they can buy those stair carpet things to reduce

The Village of Barretts Run has AWFUL customer service and leasing office!!!! It's often a hot mess with workers always confused when you have a question. Whenever I place a maintenance order it OFTEN get's lost and there is never any confirmation about it. It's like putting a letter in the mailbox. You don't know if it is going to reach its destination, but you hope it does. In this case, it never does..This has happened twice in the past 4 months and then no one contacts you about it.
