My name is Steve Clare. My background in the home industry is very extensive. I grew up in a family that was always involved in some type of construction. I worked with my father who taught me the value of working hard and learning all you can in your own industry. I had a very different experience than Molly and regret that I used him based on her recommendation. I had expected a detailed report and in fact with other inspections on other properties that was the norm. I received a one page check list that wasn't even accurate in some cases. For example he rated the 30+ year old furnace satisfactory when I knew going into the inspection was defective and unsafe and to be replaced prior to closing. He subsequently told my realtor that he never checked carbon monoxide levels. Nor did he check the temperature of air conditioner. His suggestions which were

Steve did an incredibly thorough job with the house that we are going to purchase. He talked me through everything I didn't understand and was very easy to work with. I would highly recommend him, he provided an honest, in depth report and was very informative. We definitely will use him again in the future!
