Chatham Seafarer Inn was conveniently located, easy to get to, easy to book, and easy to stay at. They were very accommodating, when we first checked in, all you heard from us was, “this is so perfect, look how cute!” We stayed in the end unit of the Boxwood style rooms, that are directly around the corner on Ridgevale Road, number 21. The view from the back slider, seeing this beautiful blossoming apple tree and pool area totally had us making note that we really “made out”! My mom noticed that the little seating area outside our sliders had two chairs but no table “like the other units”

Great value and location. Reviewers mention clean because it is that clean and that apparent which is especially reassuring during this pandemic. The beds, bedding and pillows were fresh and comfortable. The furniture and tv were not dated, the blinds are new white wood blinds and work well. in fact the only thing that could be dated are the bathroom tiles. However this motel is very well kept up and not the least bit shabby. The general manager is professional and very helpful. The rates are terrific. I will return .

Went for the weekend during June covid reopening. The rooms were decent size and clean . sheets were clean. Bathrooms were dated but fine. Staff was great, especially during covit19. Pool was clean and warm. Beach is at the end of the road. $20. Parking . Easily walkable.
Cable TV good amount of channels.
We usually stay at bigger resort type places or bigger hotels but this was great for the cape.

I have stayed at The Chatham Seafarer many times and it never fails in providing clean and comfortable lodging in a great location. Len and his team are incredibly welcoming. The rooms are pristine, and very comfy. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else, it’s our home away from home in Chatham!! Thank you, great job!

Be very careful if you have to change or cancel a reservation. The only gentleman who answers the phone (owner?) is very easily confused and confusing. I booked a couple of rooms for business purposes and personally called to cancel one of them for which I was charged a cancellation and just noticed they charged me again, almost a month later. When I called to notify them he told me to dispute it with my card company, which I did. Very poor customer service. Never again!

I have been coming to Chatham for years and stayed in a number of affordable motels in the Chatham/Harwich/Orleans area. This was my first time staying at the Seafarer. We booked a Copper Beach double queen room for my wife and I and toddler son. When we arrived I casually mentioned that we had a 3 year old who tends to get up earlier and out of respect for other guests wanted to suggest putting us where there weren't as many guests ( if possible). The front desk woman, who was extremely friendly and accommodating and actually upgraded us to a Boxwood suite with kitchenette saying we would

Pros:
1) Nice accommodations with beautiful floors.
2) Larger pool area than one would expect.
3) One reserved parking spot for each room.
Cons:
1) Extremely wide pilllows which make your neck bend (even if you use only one).
2) Thin walls.
3) Very loud three hour conversation directly outside my room by motel staff as I was trying to take a nap.

We had a great weekend at this hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable. It is in a great location, walking distance to Ridgevale beach. The pool area is nice and clean, although a little shade would be a great thing. Maybe some umbrellas would help. The management was very nice and responsive. My sister-in-law had a broken screen door in her room, and it was fixed immediately after she reported it broken. We will certainly be back.

Stayed 3 nights here with my husband. I'm a clean freak so was very impressed w/how pristine the room was - looks like there were recent renovations. My husband and I agreed, it's clear they carefully choose who they hire -the friendliest and most helpful staff. Location is perfect. Will definitely be back. You get more than what you pay for here.

We are staying at the Chatham Seafarer for our fourth summer vacation. We found this place four years ago and have been coming back every year since.
Rooms are always very clean, spacious with hardwood floors and yield comfortable mattresses. Also, the large; heated; outdoor pool is very nice to have during chilly days and evenings.
The Chatham Seafarer is conveniently located less than a mile from the famous Ridgevale beach and a few minutes drive from the fancy Chatham downtown, with fine dining and shopping. The Ridgevale beach is the most children friendly beach at the Cape with shallow water
