I grew up in Johnstown, a small town in northern Colorado. I attended college at New Mexico State University where I studied microbiology and was a four-year track and field student-athlete. After undergrad, I married my sweetheart Allyson and we began our life adventure together. I next attended Creighton University School of Dentistry.

Austin Orthodontist is very welcoming, efficient, and super clean! Everyone there was extremely knowledgeable, and helpful. Both of my kids have been under Dr. Briggs’s care for a few years and I can attest that he’s truly one of the best! We moved further away from the office, but couldn’t make the leap to another provider because the level of care given at Austin Orthodontics is excellent. This proved true just yesterday when one of my girls had an ortho emergency and Dr. Briggs didn’t hesitate to meet us at their office on a day they were closed. It seems that finding providers who are genuinely invested in your health are harder to come by and if you’re looking for just that, then go to Austin Orthodontics

My permanent retainer became unbonded during the weekend and I needed a quick repair - but I had never been to an Ortho in Austin and didn't know where to start. Let me assure you that you and your family will be safe as their infection control protocol is impeccable. Austin Ortho is such an amazing place! The staff are always super friendly and personable. They take their clients health seriously, and are proactive with screening and taking temperatures before letting clients inside.
Dr.Briggs is always very friendly. He not only remembers my name, but also previous personal details I've talked about. Dr.Briggs spends time with each client making sure that their teeth not only look perfect to him but perfect to them as well. He always listens to concerns and explains his decisions extensively so that clients can be confident with treatment.

The COVID procedures are effective and well planned. They were polite and helpful, just as we've come to expect. Dr. Briggs kept us informed of what he was doing and what to expect. Today he had on some really fun bicycle themed socks. My daughter's orthodontic care is progressing as expected. I wish we had these level of techniques when I needed Braces as a kid!

We've been taking two of our children to this office for over a year now and I have nothing but great things that say about Dr. Briggs and his staff. The doctor himself is extremely kind and personable and works so well with my teens.
The front office staff are some of the friendliest I've ever met. They are always helpful with working out appointments with our weird schedules. They really work hard to make The orthodontics experience a pleasant one.

Dr. Briggs is, in my opinion, as good as an orthodontist can be. I honestly could not improve a single thing. I say that after spending a year and a half working with another orthodontist who has a highly visible practice in the Westlake area. The quality of service was so much better with Dr. Briggs it is really remarkable. After going through a double jaw surgery, and extensive work on my mouth with numerous specialists Briggs stands out from the pack on many levels. My periodontist, who is excellent himself, told me he had not worked with Dr. Briggs prior to my case but now regards him
