The Doric has been a great investment for our growing family. We have a beautiful, spacious unit with sweeping Manhattan views. We've gotten to know a wonderful community through living here and through the amenities like the beautiful pool, garden and sun deck, as well as the special events they have for families in the building -- Halloween party and trick or treating, Christmas parties, etc.
We love the convenience to the city, Hoboken and Jersey City. Love that we have parking and I can zip down to Whole Foods in 10 minutes and Shop Rite and Trader Joes in 5. We can commute into the

I'm clearly somewhat biased given I currently live in the building and have a vested interest in seeing it thrive, however since I moved in Oct '16 it has been an overall great experience.
Ignore older reviews of the building - hallways are redone, pool/garden area is brand new, and it's clearly skewing more on the luxury end of the spectrum.
As a longtime JC/Hoboken resident, this is truly a great value considering the cost vs location/space/quality. Too much further back into the heights and your commute and access to public transportation and restaurants/shopping in Hoboken

This is probably the most under-rated building in the area. Superb location with direct access to NYC busses and the Hudson Bergen Light Rail at your doorstep. Pool, fitness center, community room, dry cleaners and deli all on site with 24 hour concierge. The apartments are large and well laid out and most have balconies with direct NYC views. The staff is cleaning and maintaining constantly and are extremely friendly. The building is currently renovating all of the public areas, including the pool, gardens, parking garage and all hallways. As a local realtor, I feel it's one of the

Best value you can get for living in "Hoboken." After spending many hours searching all through Hoboken proper for 2 beds in the 700-800k range, the Doric presented a great alternative half the price point right on the palisades in union city (JC/Hoboken border). After moving from Manhattan I can say this surpassed my expectations. The amenities are quite decent, shuttle to path, pool, gym, dog run in the park next door, parking, 24 hour doorman. There is also a deli onsite with great food and dry cleaning in the building. All this within 1 block to the light rail at 9th street, all overlooking

All I can say is WOW. The views from the east facing apartments is breathtaking! The lobby is very modern and clean. There is a lot of staff working to keep the building safe and clean. The deli is a great feature in the building. The pool is great as well. Definitely a family oriented building that has really cleaned up in the last few years. The hallways are dated but from what I hear these will be renovated later this year at which point this building will be the best value in the area!

We have lived here for three months and we absolutely love this place! All the neighbors are really nice and friendly. My girlfriend works at Manhattan mid town and her door to door commute is 30 minutes by bus and I work at downtown jersey city which takes 20 minutes by lightrail. View is beautiful

Lived here 7 years. Great value for what you get; super convenient (light-rail 2 blocks away, 3 different bus lines to NYC right outside the building), decent amenities (pool, small gym, 24-hour doorman + package rooms, super + staff, shuttle to path), 2 blocks to Hoboken, 10-minute walk to shop-rite. The hallways could use an update, but the views are amazing (see attached photos) and the rest of the common areas are quite nice.

I absolutely love the view from the building. The NY skyline is spectacular at night! The staff trip over themselves to help out. There are friendly people living in a beautiful building in a great area and the convenience of a dry cleaner and deli in the building, 24 hour concierge/security. I can't wait until the pool opens!!!
Considering what other buildings charge monthly, the fees are not high at all. Especially since water, electric, heat and taxes are included in the monthly charge.

Just want to opine on the building. I have lived in the building for several years and have had both family and friends in the building as well. I see a bunch of mixed reviews, but generally I think the building has great value.
As far as maintenance fees, they are not extremely high by comparison. This is a coop so remember the maintenance includes all utilities and taxes, not to mention has a tax advantage. I have a 1BR and the fees are under $700.
In my years here I have seen periodic assessments, but nothing that has been overwhelmingly large. As far as straight increases go, this
