Grand View Inn & Suites

Clean, quieter than expected for being so close to the road, and great service.

I've stayed here many times throughout the years and has always been a great place. However, my most recent stay I found bed bugs in my room...a lot of them. If one room has them, it's likely they all have them. I hope the hotel can handle this problem soon. I always enjoyed the hotel but will not stay there if they have bed bugs

I just love the atmosphere of the restaurant and the hotel. The front desk is friendly and helpful, and the rooms are very comfortable. This is one of my favorite places for a night away.

Pet friendly. Centrally located to several activities and interests.

There is no Internet here in your rooms and barely any in the lobby. The TV has 5 channels (no really, 5, I flipped through all of them and counted) despite giving you both a wifi password and all 5 channels are variations of fox news. There's also no breakfast and the screen window is on the verge of falling off so we can't open our window. The toilet bowl also has some strange dark gray streaks I don't wanna know more about. If I can give no stars I would. Horrific experience

A little on the expensive side but a good place to stay. Very clean and good location. I'd prefer this place over any other hotel in the area

There was an amazing gentlemen who had compassion in his heart and tried to help when we arrived at the hotel in July 8th at 3pm. I would say that the thin woman at the front desk who was present at the time of check in lacked compassion and kindness and was trying not to laugh at me while she attempted to dispute my claim that I was told the room would be handicap accessible for my severely disabled mother in law. The rooms are in poor condition and need maintenance updates ASAP. The hotel did refund me and I appreciated the other woman at the front desk that assisted me with that. In my opinion

Nice place comfortable beds would give 5 stars except some of the extended stay guest have pets. They are to lazy to clean up after their pets one of the pet owners let their pet relieve themselves on the walk way. The grand is letting them stay at the least clean up after their pets have some respect for the other guests who stay their and for the grand for letting them stay there

Great place to stay. Beats Anchorage prices! The staff is wonderful. The wifi is a bit challenging, if you get it to work. The rooms could use some updates such as doors, TVs ( not smart TVs) and new shower curtains. Bathroom door wouldn’t shut and no lock. Room door very thin and could use chain lock. Maybe, remove the tape from the area rug in the entrance??? We did appreciate the microwave and refrigerator. Great restaurant, The Grill.

Completely disappointed with the extended stay never will I stay here again or suggest anyone doesn't better service for less elsewhere

We had driven up from Homer yesterday without reservations, not knowing how far we would go. Stopped at this hotel and were lucky enough to get a room. The desk clerk, Susan, was very kind & busy, but was able to check us in. She recommended their restaurant for dinner, which was excellent. Great food & bar. She also gave us breakfast suggestions.
The room was clean & beds comfortable. Great experience for 2 tired travelers.
