The Apartment is Great but The Cons Are the Staff except maintenance. They are always negligent to answer calls or voicing our opinions. to Them Money is the root of their evil. Find a place where people care and understand our feedback system. I hope the higher-ups read this and clean up their acts. UNACCEPTABLE!!!!

Bad apartment manager: Did not care or take my concerns seriously. The primary concern was I told her that there was something inside of the apartment that was affecting my breathing and allergies (she blamed my change of environment as the cause ). She also found my concerns humorous, laughing behind her mask as I was expressing my frustration.
Exterior: Door lock was either not properly lined or just bad. Filthy entry door and broken sliding patio door.
Roach and ant infestation

Do not even think about living here. This place is the furthest thing from luxury - don't let them fool you. I am disappointed in myself to have continuously wasted my money here when I could've been somewhere way nicer and way cheaper. Not only are most of our neighbors cockroaches getting through all the cracks, but the management does little to nothing to fix any problem you care to report. Including the fact that they let us move into an apartment with black mold. Or doing nothing about a resident reporting that 2 people broke into their apartment. And on the note of luxury, do you

If i could give the apartment complex a zero, i would. I only stayed here for about 3 months and i had a few bad experiences. I was emailed the virtual tour due to covid and was not able to see the apartment in person (if that was possible, i wouldn't have signed a lease) and was told that the apartment looked exactly like it. When i finally moved in, the apartment was not what it seemed. There were no lights or a ceiling fan in the master bedroom or in the second bedroom, washer and dryers were tiny and also there was a urine smell in the bathroom that was hard to get rid of. I will admit that part of the five rating comes from the horrible experience that I have had in apartments up to this point. That being said, Village Gate is the best apartment that I have ever rented from.
We were there for only three months this summer, in the middle of renovations, but the staff handled it wonderfully. Because the pool was closed, they put up a portable one largely because they saw how disappointed that it was closed.
