My wife Vanessa and I had been married 3 months and I awoke to our apartment collapsing under the force of a 6.9 magnitude earthquake now known as the Northridge earthquake. My wife Vanessa did not suffer any physical injury, but I had a concussion and whiplash from being hit in the head in the dark by the wood bursting through walls that were snapping like match sticks.

Acupuncture treatment is as unique as the people receiving the treatment. The art is being able to create a treatment plan using as few needles as possible to achieve the best result. Acupuncture is a customizable healthcare modality. We view an individual's health in the context of the whole person where each area of the body being interconnected with every other area via the acupuncture meridians and acupoints.

I am a Master of Traditional Oriental Medicine and received my training and degree at the Emperor's College of Traditional Oriental Medicine in Santa Monica, California. You need to be licensed as an acupuncturist here in Colorado by the Division of Registrations Acupuncture Board. I hold license number 663 in Colorado and 6424 in California.

Acupuncture is also a qualified health care expense for Flex Spending Accounts (FSA), Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and Health Reimbursement Accounts (HRA). Many employers have reimbursement plans for acupuncture and you can check with the employer's human resources department to see if they offer this.
