Came in yesterday with a terrible migraine, nausea and stiff joints, very stressed. Went home with NO migraine or nausea, more flexibility in neck and hands than I've had in months. Had best sleep ever, am eager to take on the day, energized and healthy. I have multiple medical issues including RA and fibromyalgia.
At times, these conditions keep me almost bed-bound and taking handfuls of pills. Now, I visit SCA once or twice a week and it reduces my pain level so much, I am able to keep functioning and enjoy life more. Thank your for your care!.

Hannah discovered her love of Eastern medicine during Shiatsu training, in 2000. She has always been passionate about creating community, and was excited to discover the community acupuncture model. She opened the clinic in 2011. Then in 2018, as the clinic transitioned to non-profit, she became the executive director.
Acupuncture is remarkably simple. Tiny needles are strategically placed in the body to influence the body's qi ("chee") and its flow through the meridian system. This facilitates healing. While studies show that acupuncture improves circulation and decreases inflammation, its exact mechanism remains a mystery.
We have served the larger Colorado Springs area from our cozy location in Old Colorado City since we opened in 2011. Our team has gradually expanded to include 3 acupuncturists, 2 office managers and a team of reception volunteers. In January of 2018, we converted to a non-profit and added education and outreach to our mission.
We offer a flexible $30-$50 sliding scale for community acupuncture and herbal consultations. You choose how much you pay within this range. We don't do income verification. We want you to be able to come in often enough to get well and stay well. Please pay what works for you. There is an additional one-time fee of $20 for new patients, making an initial visit $50-$70.
Springs Community Acupuncture is committed to providing effective and affordable acupuncture to the residents of Southern Colorado, and to educating the public on the use of acupuncture and its related healing modalities as accessible healthcare options. We seek to improve the quality of life in our community by providing relief from pain, discomfort, stress, and the isolation and financial burden that can accompany acute and chronic illness.

I had extremely sever arthritis when I was pregnant and came here once, sometimes twice a week. If I didn't come, there was a huge, noticable difference. They took such good care of me and listened to my needs. I came back today for chronic neck pain and after my session I am finally feeling relief and mobility in my neck. They're seriously the best in their work, very professional, and friendly.

Dear Hannah,
Although my family has been coming to Springs Community Acupuncture for over 7 years I truly don't understand the treatment we just received from you. My husband and I were not even acknowledged by you as you let us know that we had to leave. Due to a very violent and traumatic past I am unable to wear a cloth mask over my face. I have a medical exemption and was even wearing a clear face mask. I can't even believe how rude you were to us. We have sent many people to you over the years. You know my entire family and the way that you just treated us is so painful. I would have expected

My first experience with acupuncture. Decided to drive there and check it out. Was greeted by a friendly professional face. Everything was explained in detail and any questions answered. Water and tea available. After a quick intake I was seen in a timely manner. We went over any issues and concerns.
I was shown into the treatment area and a thorough description of what was available and what to expect was given. Eye masks, ear plugs, pillows, and blankets available for use.
After starting treatment I was checked on regularly. As a first timer this was great, knowing I wouldn't be left alone
