I have been living here in a one bedroom for 11 months now and I love it. The apartment themselves are extremely well kept. The appliances are great. There is a ton of light with floor to ceiling windows. I have a beautiful view of the Van Aken District with all its activity, eg folks sitting outside eating, kids playing. There is great sound insulation though - I don't hear my neighbors or outdoors if my windows are shut. The closet space is super spacious. Internet is fast. They even have pick up for the dry cleaners down stairs. Also during winter the trees are all lit up with festive lights

In the 12+ years I've lived in apartment buildings, it's always felt like management and residents just tolerated each other or had cordial relationships at best. In our 2 years here, we've received half a dozen random gifts at our door: a bag of treats from a nearby dog bakery, gift cards to Mitchell's, Covid-19 masks when the pandemic rolled around, and even flowers that we could bring home to arrange. The building is well cared for with a regular and friendly crew of cleaners, and a very attentive building manager. This is a very dog friendly building (it seems like every other resident has

We love living here! I've lived in many apartment buildings and I've never felt so welcome and satisfied than at Upstairs. The staff are pleasant and the community manager, Katelyn, is always super friendly, eager to help and on top of things. They frequently have little surprise gifts as "thank-you" for the residents which really can make your day! The proximity to the broader van aken district and climbing gym also makes the location hard to beat. The market hall is basically your front yard which was super convenient for getting a quick snack or meeting up with friends.

I am upset that we don't have any groups like book groups where I can meet my neighbors.

Think twice before moving here lived her for a year now will be moving out, The doors are set up like a hotel and when they close they automatically lock, there’s only one maintenance man and he lives in Euclid Ohio so when you’re locked out prepare to be locked out for a minimum of two hours and I’ll top of that pay $200 just to get let back into your apartment! Leasing office literally watches everything you do I was babysitting a dog and told they were going to add a $250 pet fee on my account without even asking me. Also had some family members over one time leasing office asked them
