Restaurant closed because of COVID WHICH IS NOT STATED ON WEB SITE. Checked in to assigned room and TV and phone didn't work. Front desk then assigned me to another room. NEW ROOM- Bed with no top sheet but phone and TV remote works. Room with ripped chair and fridge not working. Very, very disappointing.

I visited Lynchburg, VA with my 6- year old daughter. She was excited about staying at the hotel because she loved the way it looked, she said it was "fancy". Little did we know, our room wasn't so "fancy". When we walked down the hall, the smell was unpleasant. It smelled like cigarette smoke. As soon as we walked in our room, the smell was even stronger, even though it was a non-smoking room. The bed looked like someone just pulled the covers back on the bed without changing anything. There was something sitting in the toilet and the toilet would not work. The lamps were not working. I appreciate

All the area restaurants are open but they are still using boxed breakfast and the bar and grille is closed. The swimming policy also makes no sense fewer hours why? And you have to make reservations for the pool. I have an 8 year old disappointed because of not being able to swim. Maybe it's the state laws but still makes no sense. ( breakfast and swimming two of the reasons for booking this hotel) Staff is short tempered and not accomodating.

Horrible, disgusting, nasty, stinky, broken moldy AC unit, can't turn it off, hallways stink, room stinks, carpets dirty, water damage in room, mold in room, needs total renovation, extremely unfriendly front desk and cook, box breakfast eggs bacon or sausage, breakfast very small selection, small room, bed cover used. Dust and bugs next to bed, mold in bathroom, toilet seat off the toilet, runny toilet water running all night, staff at front desk and kitchen make you feel not welcomed, I took loads of photos but can only post 1.

Room was under maintenance and didn't give us a new room. Spackle on the walls and on the curtains. Rattling pipes, and the folding mirrored closet door was off the hinges and almost fell on me. The ac/heater air vent was frozen over so the room couldn't cool down till we fixed that problem. This was all part of the blue ridge rock festival package too none of the less
