I found this Inn by chance while searching for a midway point to break up a road trip between Tennessee and Pennsylvania. My husband and I were so impressed by our first visit, that we quickly booked another! This time we had to experience the Inn in its Christmas glory. The Inn was simply gorgeous- we were blown away by the beauty. Each time we visited, we left feeling inspired, relaxed and recharged. Cliff and Chris pay so much attention to detail, to insure a first class experience. The Inn has everything to create a special experience - exquisite décor, history, beautiful grounds and views

Just perfection! Chris and Cliff have restored this beautiful manor to all its former glory and then some. The decor is period appropriate with the most gorgeous collection of antiques I’ve ever seen. I found this place quite by accident less than a year ago and have already been back three times! I’m in the process of plotting my next visit. When you come here you’re treated like family. The rooms are gorgeous and the living areas are warm, inviting and fully available to use. The view out the back is magnificent, with greenery as far as the eye can see and mountains beyond that. I love

Gorgeous, classy, comfortable, delicious, fun. The 1806 Inn has been lovingly and beautifully restored and furnished. Breakfast was delicious and served in “Downton Abbey” style. Setting is idyllic. Hosts are very knowledgeable and accommodating. We will definitely return.

How rare it is to find an historic home (mansion!) B&B that is as beautiful inside as out! The home is filled with antiques that suit the period of the home with views of the Blue Ridge mountains from the back. You’re minutes from the interstate and close to Natural Bridge and it’s an easy drive to Lexington for dinners. The hosts were outstanding - Cliff regaled us with stories of the house and it’s remodeling process; Chris provided us with 2 marvelous breakfasts - brioche!!- and we purchased a box of his cinnamon rolls to enjoy at home. If you like history, beautiful homes, good food,

I found the Inn after deciding to explore Natural Bridge for a mini vacation. The Inn became as much a destination as the state parks of this part of Virginia, and it did not disappoint! The grounds and views of the Blue Ridge Mountains are amazing, whether from your room windows like mine (Milburne), walking the back property, or from a rocker on the back porch. Stepping into the front door of the manor house is like stepping back in time. The house boasts spectacular woodwork, and is furnished in period pieces. Despite the museum like setting, it is warm and welcoming, and you are made to feel

A beautiful mansion home furnished in period pieces. The Hosts, Chris and Cliff, are very personable. To stay here makes you feel like you are back in the nineteenth, early twentieth centuries. Everything is top quality, including your care by the owners. Breakfast is wonderful! Cliff will give you the history of the house and furnishings if you ask. A real treasure! View from rear porch is outstanding! There is a small antique shop and bakery in the basement, The best made to order pies ever! This is our second time here and were sure, we will be back again. Short drive to Natural Bridge and Lexington

We stayed at the Vine Cottage with our family and the stay was exceptional! The hosts were friendly, responsive and really thought of every aspect of the stay, from plenty of towels to extra pillows and blankets! We very much enjoyed the central location and the huge lot for lots of exploring and walking! We particularly loved feeding the horses on site (just make sure to ask first). Beautiful scenery, comfortable stay, and gracious hosts, what more could you ask for? Might I suggest ordering some cinnamon buns from their on-site bakery, they are amazing! I would definitely stay here again in a
