Older property, poor signage outside hotel and inside lobby. Limited housekeeping; staff reported due to covid; however, friendly staff and front desk did respond quickly to a request. Parking free and easy to get to Liberty University, since we did not get a hotel closer to Liberty during our visit. Room was clean, just lacks needed updates.

I love the people who work here so very much.
Lynchburg is a small town but this spot is located in the middle of some great restaurants and an INCREDIBLE theater.
While the hotel is not as fancy as some, the staff gives it a 5 star rating for me!

Very old hotel. Probably hasn’t been upgraded since the 80s. Musty smell in our room. Shampoo in packets that are hard to open and the shampoo looks like orange food coloring. The shower had a stopper hanging out of the drain. The rooms are very dark and hard to see unless you open the curtains all the way. Holes in drapes by elevators. Elevators smelled and had trash on the floor. Pictures are not a good representation of the hotel. Location is good for walking downtown but that was the only positive. Do not recommend. Over rated for price.

Still looks, feels, acts like the Holiday Inn it used to be. Not a bad place to stay, but changing the name and who runs it hasn't changed how it functions...yet.

Much better than I expected. Hotel was pretty clean and staff was friendly/helpful. Room was clean upon arrival and had a nice stay. Thank you again.

Came to VA and had this hotel room as part of a music festival pass + hotel package. I am very glad I got put in this hotel. Clean room and very nice staff. The manager even went as far as to give us a bottle of shampoo he had gone to the store to get (festival guests booked out the hotel and ran them out it seems). Can't really ask for more and hope to stay here again for the festival in 2022 :)

Old hotel downtown with neat characteristics. Rooms were nice. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom had issues. First morning tub did not drain. Maintenance had to come. Second morning was better but still drained slowly. Conditioning shampoo came in packets that need to be opened BEFORE showering. Blew a fuse both mornings trying to use the microwave.

Very nice and clean room. Good shower pressure and ability to take a bath is a plus. Only docked a star, because while there for an extended weekend visit, our room was never cleaned. No new sheets, toiletries, coffee, etc. Other than that, very nice.

Sent to the wrong room first. After taking the exact same key to the correct room number I found a roach in the bathroom. The building needs major work and a deep clean. Staff was very understanding and accommodating. Given a refund without any fuss and offered an area map to find somewhere else.
