Per the city of SF, you must be fully vaccinated to practice in a gym/ studio without a mask. Beginning Friday 10/15, if you are fully vaccinated you no longer have to wear a mask in class. Or, we can tailor a corporate on-demand channel that is specific to your company's needs and that would be exclusive to your company.

Chadd & Rikk have created a beautiful minimal studio and have an amazing community. I love the 2 classes Chadd offers on Thursday at 3pm and Sunday at 10:45am. I gave lower back issues and arthritis to my left ankle. Every time I take Chadds alinement classes, my body is no longer in pain. I highly recommend this Marina Studio

This is a very honest review. There are many yoga studios in the city, and I have been to many other studios in other cities such as LA, Seattle, and NY. Body Temp Yoga is one of the very few who truly work with their clients and put them as their priority. First and foremost, they have one of the best instructors, very understanding and experienced, letting us do what's best for our own body and not needing to follow what the "standard of a yoga practice", which, to be honest, you know your own body best, do what is best for you, not for others. Secondly, the studio is very friendly

This review is overdue. Having gone to yoga studios throughout the Bay Area, BodyTemp truly stands out as exceptional. The owner Chadd is absolutely wonderful - extremely caring and knowledgeable and has created a lovely sense of community. I've been to studios where the instructors and classes are very strict and unaccommodating to the unique situations of it's clients. BodyTemp is phenomenal in this respect - the instructors embrace a philosophy and lead classes that are incredibly inclusive and offer something for EVERYONE. The studio is beautiful, tranquil and immaculate - I can feel

Best yoga studio in the city in my opinion. The teachers are amazing and put on thoughtful, challenging classes, yet make them accessible to everyone. I started coming here a few years ago while recovering from a back injury and they were so accommodating and helpful in giving me tips and modifications when I needed them. There's just such a friendly, non-pretentious vibe here. This place is just the best :)

I took my first hot yoga class at body temp yoga! It opened the world of hot yoga for me. These classes are super challenging but rewarding. I feel like a brand new person every time. This studio has multiple changing stalls with curtains - a lot more privacy than most studios that only have male/ female locker rooms. There is meter parking right outside and free parking in the residential area a couple blocks away. It's sometimes difficult finding a spot so make sure you come early or else you might get locked out! If there's only one employee (the instructor) working, he/ she will lock

Back in the day when Body Temp Yoga was still Global Yoga, I took my very first bikram class with Chad.
I was so hungover! All I can say is, alcohol + 98 degree heat = just don't do it.
I managed to walk out of that class feeling "renewed" (aka: dehydrated) but glad I didn't pass out and returned a few more times that week.
Chad has gained more followers since then and retained the loyalists from Global and eventually owned and opened Body Temp. I'm so happy he did!
The remodel looked 1000x better and thank God they got rid of those carpets. (YES. Carpets!) The studio

I have been practicing at this studio for 3 years. I've been growing with the studio. The knowledge I inherited from them will stay with me wherever I go. No business or individual can satisfy all request. Here are what I really like about this studio.
Every single member of the management team contributes to the community in their unique ways.
Chadd- is the most studious in term of training sustainable and healthy body. He has an anatomical skeleton in the small studio to help students understand how their own body works. He's always on the top of professional training and researches

Body Temp is a wonderful yoga studio and space to practice. As a long time teacher here, I feel happy to be part of this community, which feels like family, and this includes students, owners, and fellow teachers.
Everyone is welcome, and for many, I know it feels like home.
The atmosphere is one of support, and Margaret is very much part of cultivating that support with students and teachers alike. She is endlessly dedicated and positive, she is also very nurturing and goes out of her way to help. And she's funny!
As a very rare Yelper I felt the need to show my support as a fellow

I have been practicing at Body Temp for 7 years and teaching there for three. They offer a wide range of yoga classes, from vinyasa to Bikram to sculpt to rolling, in a non-pretentious, thoughtful and genuine way. In reference to the review about Margaret - she has only been kind, extremely positive and exuberantly supportive to me, other teachers and to her students during our many interactions.

Calling this place YOGA is an absolute disrespect to the art, practice and history of yoga and frankly a HUGE false advertisement. As a yoga instructor and avid yogi of nearly 10 years I can tell you without a doubt that what I just did was not yoga but a new age workout class with some stolen yoga moves. That being said his class is a great workout for sure and a sweaty one at that. Burpees, pushups, bicep curls, jumping jacks, mountain climbers, squats, lunges and with weights in hand gives you a damn good workout not to mention missy Elliot blaring in the background but you cannot throw in

Great studio! One of my biggest concerns with Bikram studios is the smell and cleanliness. I really appreciate this place because it is clean, friendly, and affordable! Although it's sometimes crowded, they make room for everybody!
I like all the instructors and they have a lot of classes offered every day! Bikram 90 is my favorite but the other variation classes I have tried have been enjoyable too :)

Been coming to this studio for 3 years now so it's probably time to leave a review. The TL;DR: it's fabulous, and I highly recommend it!
Longer story: this place has incredibly reasonable prices. I buy the 30 class pack and it averages out to $14 a class, and if you do monthly membership it ends up being about $3 a day 😍. I've never felt financially stressed here in the way I do at some other fitness classes (looking at you $32 boot camps 👀) and it's such a relief for me.
In addition to that, the teaching is top notch. I mainly take classes from Beth, Ruth, and Nicola and I've loved all

This is my all-time favorite studio in SF for hot yoga with weights. I've also done CorePower Yoga, Ritual, Yoga Tree, etc but this is the best workout I've gotten by far.
My favorite Hot Sculpt instructors are Lysee and Mairin, they teach most weekends and are really helpful, patient, and kind--and also give you a super cardio-intense sculpting workout. The classes are always packed on the weekend, so come early if you have a spot preference (near the heaters, at the back, etc).
You can rent mats, towels, and buy beverages here. No showers, but bathrooms and changing areas available

I wasn't sure what to expect with Body Temp when I signed up, since I've never been a fan of bikram and was a faithful attendant of classes at Urban Flow and then YogaTree and have been so used to their style. I'd heard really great things about their unheated Renew studio, which is something I'm needing at the moment, so decided to give it a try.
A month in and I've learned that I'm still not a fan of bikram or bikram-like classes, but still really happy I signed up for this studio. I've been dealing with multiple pain issues for about a year now, and their

Their strength and sculpt yoga class rocks -- power yoga plus free weights. It slowly draws out the sweat while toning and stretching. The entire routine fits neatly in 1 hour which works great for my schedule. It wasn't technical. Simple routine without inversions that you just need to power through. Focus was mainly on shoulders, arms, quad/gluts and core.
Body Temp also offer heated classes, including bikram. I generally avoided the bikram and haven't checked out their heated vinyasa classes but have heard good reviews from my friends for the heated flow .

I've been going Body Temp for past two years! I love the staff, the facility (very clean and not smelly!), and the variety of classes they offer. I appreciate their approach to the yoga practice, especially in the heated environment. The instructors encourage you to take breaks when needed and open the windows if its too hot. I wish it was just a tad bigger, but other than that - I am very satisfied and enjoy my weekly visits to the studio.
