All InterNACHI Certified Professional Inspector are required to pass an inspector exam, follow a comprehensive Standards of Practice, abide by a strict Code of Ethics, and take accredited Continuing Education courses each year in order to maintain their membership in good standing.

You should get a home inspection when you put in an offer on a home and it has been accepted by the seller to make sure there are no major issues with the home that could cause safety issues down the line. If damage should be found I will point it out to my client so they can present it to the seller to negotiate a repair; if no agreement is made and my client walks away, I do offer a discount to inspect a different home.
