Broke down while on a trip. Drove to the shop about 4:30 pm. They checked my pickup and ordered parts. They advised us of a motel near by. The next morning when the parts arrived they replaced the front wheel bearing and had us on the road before noon. Very nice people, would be my go to repair shop if I lived in the area. They drove us to the motel and picked us up when the truck was done.

I bought a trailer hitch and had it installed at Madd Monkey. Jim's people did a perfect job of the installation and at a fair price. Mad Monkey's technicians still have that rare ability to "REPAIR" some things instead of just replace with expensive new parts. .... And best of all: Zeus, the beautiful German Shepherd is the welcoming committee. His loud bark is just saying "hello". Took our car in for a quote for rear bumper replacement. He told us his quote would be in by the end of the day. Two days later, still not a word. We called and he said he had not sent the quote by email but it would "most likely be today". Never heard a word. We went to 2 other local body shops and one gave an immediate quote and the other was in by the end of the afternoon. So he lost our future business for anything having to do with car repair. Wish there was an opportunity for a zero star review since that's how far we got with him. Unbelievable.

Jimmy is very personable and a man of his word. He replaced the engine in our car very timely. He didn’t just throw it together with disregard, but took the time to remove the adhesive glue that was placed on the engine when it was received. The shop is typically closed on Saturdays but he made an exception and allowed us to pick up the car on a Saturday. I told him he was my hero and I’m back on the road again thanks to his services.

A liar and a crook! My daughter took her car there to find out what the check engine light was for. They charged her a diagnostic fee. She asked if they repaired it would the diagnostic fee would be taken off the repair. She was told it would. Well it was not. The owner lied about being in the office when the receptionist told my daughter and my wife that the fee would be applied to the repair bill when he was not. Beware of this liar and crook!

My 2002 Suburban started to shake in the front end. I am new to Troutman and wanted to find someone I could trust to work in my vehicle. I took the truck by Madd Monkey and spoke to Jim. The repair was more than I wanted to spend but decided to get the truck repaired. Him rebuilt the front end, put on new tires and did the state inspection. My truck rides great and I am very happy with everything Jim did. I would recommend Madd Monkey to everyone!

These guys are very professional, they know what there doing and are very reasonable. Took my wife's car to them and let them know what was going on and in no time they let me know the problem. Gave me an estimate in minutes, very good deal. Left the car and had it back in 3 days very quick for what they had to do. I will definitely go back if anything happens to any of our vehicle's. I definitely recommend anyone who needs work done to go see these guys, also very friendly.
