When I moved to San Francisco about two years ago, I had zero interest in becoming a 'yoga person.' Yoga was not even on my radar until my doctor recommended I try it out to deal with pandemic stress. After about six months at this studio, I still LOVE it. After my first class, I felt more grounded and relaxed than I had felt in about six months.
I never thought that moving around in so many ways (and sometimes trying to contort yourself like a pretzel) could be so effective at getting me out of my head. I also realized there is no such thing as a 'yoga person.' People from all walks of life show up to class, no one judges you for being new, and everyone is pretty friendly.

Services
Yoga Flow SF is a family owned company that has three San Francisco locations. We made it through the pandemic and are thrilled to be taking over the former Yoga Works studio in Walnut Creek, located in Main Street Plaza. We are incredibly honored to continue to bring yoga and fitness to this community!
We offer modifications that simplify the poses to be more suitable for beginners and some that amplify the poses for our more advanced practitioners, creating a truly "all-levels" experience. Held in family-owned, community-based yoga studios at our three San Francisco yoga studio locations and new yoga studio located in Walnut Creek, CA.
We are working very hard to bring you an amazing space and experience! This space consists of four practice rooms! One room will serve as a barre/pilates room, one as a heated vinyasa room, one room serves as our yoga and props room; this room will offer Yoga Flow 1, Yoga Flow 1-2 classes, yin and gentle yoga and the last room is the Family Room which focuses on prenatal, childcare and chair yoga!
Corporate yoga allows the employees to stay at work and have the yoga class come to them! Most employees complain about being overworked and over-stressed. Most managers complain about needing more productivity from employees. Find a balance to this by teaching your employees how to relax and maintain optimal health by implementing an on-site corporate yoga program.
You simply show up. We all began as new students once and showing up is the hardest part! Do not worry about what you cannot do. Work to your full capacity and in those moments if you aren't able to do the pose the teacher is teaching, you'll slowly ease back to child's pose or downward dog and wait to catch up when you feel ready.

I went here for the first time this morning, not knowing what to expect but was pleasantly blown-away by the amazing class that was perfectly cued, led by a passionate and thoughtful instructor who incorporated challenging movements while cueing modifications and other options as progressions to those more advanced moves. The space was amazing and serene, and the flow was surreal. Incredible instructor: Janel Hathaway! Soothing, yet energizing voice, creative flow, encouraging instruction and very welcoming! I will definitely be back! Highly recommend!!!! Janel made a 6:30am class into the best

This is a beautiful studio! I tried the yin class tonight and it was really great! Loved the warm room temperature and felt so welcomed by the front desk lady who didn't charge me for my yoga mat rental bc it was my first time visiting :) I'll be back!
PS - Some people can be so harsh with their Yelp reviews, especially for a local yoga studio. Let's support small businesses, they've been through a lot through the pandemic. Hope that yoga reaches you some compassion, patience and kindness.

I loveeeee Yoga Flow. They are my fav studio in SF and over the years I have been a fan of several of the teachers, in particular: Erin Gilmore. I would join her 6am friday classes and sunday evening classes, they started my day right and ended my weekend beautifully. The light that comes through that gorgeous studio is so unique too. If you are in SF looking for a fabulous yoga session, this is your place!! Thank you YF <3

My very favorite studio in the city. Beautiful space -- huge windows that look out over beautiful green trees. Skylight that brings in natural light. Heated vinyasa yoga with wonderful teachers and great music. I've made some of my closest friends from the studio; very nice crowd. Favorite teachers are Anna Hughes, Erin Gilmore, and Leslie Gleser. They offer classes in a smaller, non-heated room for beginners and/or advanced students who are focusing on the basics and alignment. I've tried classes across the country and have not found any studio that I like more than Yoga Flow. They also have beautiful

Yes they are open. This studio staff is friendly and welcoming. The Ocean studio has heat that comes from both the floor and the sides, dry heat, so you can practice in comfort. Brad Brockbank is a wonderful teacher, and he does a lot of core work because the advanced poses are dependent upon a strong core. I highly recommend Brad. Also Neil. Both trained by Rusty Wells. Don't miss this opportunity to replace Yogatree which is now permanently closed due to the pandemic. Yoga flow is the natural replacement.

5 reasons to enjoy the fabulous classes at Yoga Flow Ocean
1. The space is SO gorgeous! High ceilings, huge practice space, expansive windows, flooded with natural light, and infused with ambient heat.
2. The instructors are top notch. Cueing is clear, tight, intelligent, and detailed, and most instructors offer modifications for both less experienced and more advanced students.
3. They have a kind, dedicated customer service staff, who are promptly responsive.
4. They have made consistent, ongoing adjustments during COVID to keep studios safe when they are permitted to be open, while simultaneously

I love this studio so much! It's close to where I live, there is always parking, it's so spacious, the instructors know what they're doing, and the community is diverse and magical. I don't have kids but I can only imagine how helpful the childcare is to yogi parents. All the instructors are incredible, but my favorites are currently Neil and Lauren. I always leave in a great mood and feeling like I can float. Thanks to the Yoga Flow team for making my life even more amazing! :)

I am in love with Yoga Flow Noe! First off, the space is magical. It's immaculate, warm, relaxing. The low lighting changes colors to set a great mood. There are even showers! I've taken several classes and among my faves are Jackie's mellow flow class on T/Th morning and Lane's Yoga Nidra class on Friday morning. I always leave relaxed and energized at the same time. I really can't say enough good things about the studio.

I really want to love Yoga Flow Noe! It's close to my apartment, the studio itself is warm but not Bikram hot, and they have an impressive roster of experienced teachers.
I've been frequenting another nearby studio, but recently jumped on a 10-class promo at Yoga Flow to test it out.
There are some things I really like about the studio, but I do have a few pieces of feedback that I hope will help them improve.
+ Vet substitute instructors more closely. My very first class on Saturday morning (a peak time at most other studios) was taught by a sub who had a somewhat abrasive teaching

Booked this space on the Mindbody app, got a decent price at a last min time frame. Betsy Peterson was the instructor, it was a heated Flow class for all levels. I have to say the class overall was great, got what I expected out of it and left feeling great about the practice I just had. Honestly I am not really use to instructors who can actually sing.. this may sound bad but Betsy has got a great voice and I found the music and the drones she played really interesting and fun. Being as this is SF I am not really use to upstairs, tight quarters, the overall space was kind of small, especially

I love yoga flow!! I recently moved out of the area and it makes me realize how much I miss this studio.
There are two rooms here, one is very big and heated and the other is pretty small and non heated. I used to go to Brads class and he did a great job making sure everyone was helped and got a good work out too!
Pros: heated and non heated yoga options, large room, great sales on clothing, reasonable class pricing (and Groupon)
Cons: parking can be tough sometimes
Overall I love this studio! Would still be coming here if I lived close enough

I've been joining the 6am M-W-F classes here for the past two weeks and am hooked. I originally bought the Groupon 10 classes for a bargain that made each class about $6 a class. I will be buying a full price package now. I can't speak for all the classes but the instructors for the 6am classes are perfect for beginners to advanced. I highly recommend checking this place out if your looking for classes to take before work!

I was looking to transition from brazilian jiu jitsu, a pretty welcoming community, back to yoga (which should also be welcoming, but not all practices are the same). I was super apprehensive about starting here based on some negative reviews I'd read about customer service. I'm a full-figured woman of color: dealing with crappy service is a continuous struggle, especially in certain spaces.
I've felt nothing but WELCOME here so far. All of my questions regarding booking childcare and navigating the online store have been handled with patience and grace. The clientele and staff

I started at this studio from a groupon and now I'm an unlimited monthly member after so many great experiences. It's both an amazing, challenging work out and also a great place to clear your head as the instructors all encourage us to embrace change, forgiveness, and positivity through their words and chants. My only suggestion for management would be to have one guest pass per month for your monthly members! It'd be a great way to thank them as so many people who come are there through Groupon, classpass, living social etc. and the unlimited monthly fee is pretty steep.
Thanks
Thanks

I tried a new yoga place, and I love it! (ClassPass friendly)
They offer heated (85-90 degrees) and non heated classes, so there's something for everyone. I tried the non heated class first, a few days ago, and loved how I felt after. I guess I couldn't keep away, because today I tried the heated all level class, and found it to be just as good.
The teachers are great, and the environment is large, open, and friendly. They will adjust you as needed.
Amenities: There are plenty of cubbies to put your stuff in, and mats are available for rent. There's childcare, bathrooms, and
