Kellogg Cove was our first apartment together and we’ll always cherish that memory; however, the condition of the apartments and property is preeeeeeettttttyyyyyy bad. Not only are the appliances from the 70s, but they usually get replaced with something from the same era. We even had an oven catch fire! The drains clog a lot as well, I get it old piping but we didn’t even live their that long that stuff should be checked out. The shared hallway smells like diapers and cigarettes, people either leaving junk in the laundry machines or a buttload of bleach(which is awesome getting your clothes

The staff here is friendly and quick to respond, but the facilities are not in great shape. The carpet in the shared entrance space and hallways needs to be replaced. It is dirty and smelly. The water here does not run clear, so if you move in make sure you have a water filter or purifier of some kind. The model unit showcased updated appliances, but my oven and fridge were both old (although they worked just fine). The dumpster is constantly surrounded by trash or old furniture, which is an eyesore. The price point is quite reasonable for this area, but Kentwood itself is a rather expensive place

If I could have given no stars I absolutely would have. I alerted the complex in may that my bathroom sink and tub weren’t operating correctly and that I had to plunge the sink and tub every 2 days otherwise they would fill and pool with water. The toilet had to be flushed 8-10 times before it would actually flush. The kitchen sink also had to be plunged every two days or so. I called numerous times and was told that the maintenance tech quit and they were backed up with requests since March. It took them from may to august to fix my plumbing issues. I opened dialogue for an adjusted/prorated

Arianna ( hope that’s the right spelling) went above and beyond being a great employee! She helped me figure out what was wrong with my car when it was not working properly. She came and helped me out, by not just giving me advice on what might be the issue, but by being a person I could look to to keep calm in that situation!

I have to say for my first time living on my own, I've had a crappy experience. First of all the rent is ridiculously high and of course they make you pay an additional $30 convenience fee, you can never just pay the flat rate of the rent. Nothing is included in the rent also, you have to pay for all the utilities, which they say will never exceed $30, and of course it's always exactly $30. You have to pay the energy/electric bill and cable/internet bill, so in the long run you're rent is really reaching almost $900 a month! I, by far don't think this place is worth that much

I've lived at Kellogg Cove apartments 8 months now. I really wish I could rate them higher, but the two main problems go hand in hand and they make the living experience here not so great. The office can be great at times, and they even know residents by name, which is cool. But half the time they aren't in the office when they're scheduled to be there (even taking entire days off for no reason, and leaving two or more hours early regularly).
On top of that, the access buzzers haven't worked since I moved in. I've contacted the office as well as the property management company multiple times about
