I had such a great experience working with Dayle at Arena Place! I was in Grand Rapids to explore and decided last minute to check out some apartments while I was there. Dayle was able to accommodate an appointment on short notice and really took the time to talk with me about what I was looking for and what I was trying to find in an apartment. My process ended up taking longer (on my end - not theirs) as I was waiting for some things on my side before I could sign a lease, and Dayle was patient and also kept me updated throughout the process. Location is the key here; from my apartment I am within walking distance of all downtown dining and a mere 50 yards from the 131 on-ramps. Directly across from the Area with parking right here in the same building. The apartment itself is super clean and sleek, the look is exactly what I was looking for and fit my furniture perfectly. The Arena can make it crazy busy at times but that is part of the appeal.

Based on location alone, 5 stars. After living here for a year, here are a few things we wished we would have known before moving in. The elevator lobby is not secured because the parking is public which means anyone can be hanging in the vestibule. You can’t have anything delivered up to your unit because you need a fob for the elevator. The freight elevator for moving can’t be reserved and is a shared elevator with the business attached to the building. The windows don’t open and the balconies are not private (neighbors can look around to see in your apartment). The 2nd bedroom is like

Arena place was my second option, and I have been moved in for a little under 1 month but I am happy with my choice so far. Place is always clean and the common area looks great, I can not wait to do a carne asada, location is just what I was expecting. The gym has everything you need. The staff is very helpful and friendly.

I loved living there. A great location. However, beware they will clean your wallet on move out! I lived there for 16 months with my son and my lease expired in June 2020. During this pandemic I thought I did the right thing and signed a 3 month lease adding another $ to my rent. As my son was figuring out collage. After the three months I went month to month. It didn't matter! They took my deposit! Looking back I should have signed a new year lease because the results were the same. Except I paid a premium for four months.
