Horrible experience even though I'm not a resident here. The central office and local office lease officials don't know what they're doing. I called leasing office, they gave me 1pm appointment, I drove 30 miles to get there and arrived at 12:55pm. The agent at the local office says "sorry we have another appointment at 1pm please come back in an hour." NOBODY CARED TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEIR MISTAKE. They didn't even bother calling central office to verify my appointment. SO UNPROFESSIONAL AND VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE...

So this place at first was okay . I am glad to say me lease is up . Amenities are still closed due to covid even swimming pool and you still get charged for this luxury that you can even use . Parking lot was under construction for over 6 months and they didn’t even want to give a discount for keeping you outside in the cold . The only thing I can say about this place is maintenance staff is awesome . The people in the office not so .

We have been living here since April 2011. We purchased our 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath unit when we downsized from a home in Northbrook. We could not be happier. It was a great move. It is in an ideal location, near the highway for easy access north or south, and there is plenty of great shopping and restaurants. In fact, I call this home my happy place. The 15th floor views of the woods, the spectacular sunsets and all the light from the floor to ceiling windows makes this a place I love coming home to. The building is clean, the amenities are great...a beautiful pool, a well maintained work out room

My dad has rented here for over three years and I purchased my condo a year ago (Jan/2019) I love my place and the view that overlooks the woods with natural light (floor to ceiling windows), as well as the amenities.
I am pleased with the long term approach of our board of directors, as well as the consistent upkeep, cleanliness, and maintenance of our buildings, surrounding area and overall management of association. I own my own condo at Optima Old Orchard and have been here a little over a year now. I absolutely love it here! The building is very well maintained, clean, and the staff is very friendly and attentive. The amenities are a big plus.
Liz and Jason are very responsive and they always make sure that we are happy. I highly recommend this building when looking to rent/buy.

To whoever is willing to move or consider OPTIMA building. Think twice, since not everything that glitters is gold.
We have moved to Optima back in march, 2017. And it is been an "adventure" ever since. I have never seen any apartment complex with so many issues within a such a short period of time, little over 2 years, starting from the maintenance of the apartments, last and not least , the management itself.
We had probably all the possible issues with this building, starting from DUST and MOLD in the dirty vents, back in 5/11/2018, that actually developed

This is a great place to live. My wife and I have purchased a condo and lived here over 4 years. The buildings ammenities are fantastic and we take advantage of utilizing them as often as we can. The other residents are very friendly. The building management has been great to work with as well and have worked with me when I had any issue. I’d recommend this place to anyone looking for a condo in the suburbs’. Downtown look/feel in the burbs!
