This apartment has constantly been having fire alarms for almost a year. Apparently some were due to water pipe problems, but the alarms do not end after they done some inspections to the whole apartment. The management team does not tell us the reason. The fire alarm just keeps making the residents evacuating, even in the middle of the night!! AT TWO AM! Worst experience I have a ever got from any apartments. I will move immediately once my lease is over. DO NOT SIGN YOUR LEASR WITH THEM.

I wish they had more events with free food for the residents of 1717 Apartments but overall the apartments of 1717 Ridge Ave have good comfy flooring and great Wi-Fi in the fitness center and throughout the common areas of the building. Hopefully they can install the Wi-Fi throughout the whole building soon:). Keep it up 1717 management.

Have been living in 1717 for half a year, it was such a great experience staying here. A huge shoutout to Melida the leasing manager!!! She’s definitely the best leasing manager I’ve ever worked with: super nice and kind to residents and very responsive to all requests, and of course in a highly professional way. Haven’t been with Alvin a lot but also super nice staff! The building and amenities are also great. Would highly recommend this building to my friends.

1717 was our home for around 4 years. The management is very helpful and we never had any issues with service requests.
We love the property, the amenities, fun activities organised by management(even during Covid we had zoom bingo and plant care sessions). Would definitely recommend it to friends and family.

I’ve lived here almost 3 years and love it. I know there have been some issues with staff turnover, but it has been resolved. The new manager has been incredible and has been able to retain a responsive and very friendly staff. The common areas are great and I especially enjoy the gym, outdoor barbecue areas and pool. AND - the location is awesome!!

Overall is around ok,
Pros: New apartment and good amenity.
Cons: 1. Cleaning efficiency not good 2. Fire alarm sound is extremely over lound, it damaged my hearing and my kittens as well, need to reform. The bad thing is I experienced 6 fire alarms within my 1-year live here(3 times happened in one day after midnight).
