Services
We accept orders up until 3:00pm of the prior business day. As orders are taken on a first-come, first-served basis, we strongly recommend advanced planning. Orders may be cancelled up until 24 hours before your delivery without penalty. Orders may not be canceled or reduced in numbers with less than 24-hour notice.

We ordered our Christmas dinner catering from W. Millar & Co. We felt it was important to support local businesses during this time. What we didn't expect was the food to be delicious! I hope selling holiday meals continues, and I would order the exact same menu next year. We considered other options - Whole Foods, Wegman's, and a few hotels - but so glad we went with this. One note: When I went to pick up the meal, the chef himself carried it to my car. In this crazy year, that felt special.

Tried their steak and cheese (which they make with sirloin!). It was made to order so it took a few minutes for it to be ready, but it was worth it. All the ingredients are great quality -- way better than what you'd expect for your average cheese steak, including and especially the roll. I admire the pivot they've made during the pandemic in offering food to-go. Will definitely stop by again.

I'm so excited that this dc local catering company has started bringing their food to the streets because it is unbelievably delicious. I've tried most of their hot subs, prepared meals, and pastries. Everything is so good. Personal favorites have to be the cheesesteak, Mexican lasagne, Korean bulgogi stir fry, and the blueberry cheesecake poptarts. I can't wait for Pizza Policy to officially open and bless us even more. Steak breakfast burritos

We ordered catering for a small client off-site with ~10 attendees. We really wanted to impress and take a good step up from sandwiches, salads, and the usual. The food was very good, nicely presented, with high-quality ingredients. I don't remember exactly what we ordered, but I recall that the meats, vegetables, and breads were excellent. W Millar is high on our list for the next meeting!

Can we vote for the owner of this catering company to be the president!!? The way he keeps his customers satisfied and happy, I can only imagine a world we would be in. We had our retirement party luncheon catered by W Millar & Co. We had both sandwiches and salads. The business threw in cupcakes and homemade pop tarts at no charge. Yum! Everything was delicious and everyone was raving. The ordering process with Roxanne was pleasant and easy. Will definitely use their service again in the future.

I have to say that the customer service from W Millar & Co was beyond great! I was ordering from across the United States for an event to be held in DC and they helped my with every step and made it so east to do! A special thanks to Greta for being so kind and helpful. I actually never heard of this company prior to showing up. I was pretty much following an employment lead from Craigslist, definitely not my 1st suggestion of go to sites. However I showed up to location on 14th st, I will say the GM (white female) she was very nice and professional, my concern is the executive cheif (white male). The moment the gentalmen looked at me I recall him rolling his eyes as if he was disgusted by my presence. He came up the stairs where I was sitting and literally pretended to interview me he asked maybe if that 2questions he then said positions are filled but will keep

Hands down the best food I've had. I've worked with Sabrina on multiple office lunches and now working with her on an Event. I always ask for suggestions because she's the expert and without fail she's been right every time. People absolutely love it. The food is very well seasoned and cooked to perfection. Sabrina is always professional, helpful and provides you with excellent service. Her and her staff are always on time. Never once have I had to worry about an order arriving late. Catering a business event from afar is always tricky! When I connected with Jackson from Millar, he was extremely helpful and responsive. He made planning easy and gave great suggestions for breakfasts and lunches. He also coordinated the rentals for our venues and met us at the venue to set up.
We ran into a snafu and Jackson contacted me immediately to discuss and resolve the issue. Great doing business with you, Millar Catering!

These folks just catered an event at our office and because it was a small morning "Meet and Greet" we didn't order a lot of food...but what we got was INCREDIBLE!
They had these jalapeño and olive muffin-ish things that people actually fought over! Not fisticuffs, but slow-boiling stares from across the table that said "you got the last jalapeño and olive muffin-ish thing, and now I hate you!"
Have these people cater your next event or go to an event that they're catering, and make sure they have jalapeño and olive muffin-ish things!

Off a recommendation we opted to try WM&CC & the experience was not a positive one.
We hosted 65 people nationwide who were in town for one of our annual conferences. The breakfast catering arrived an hour late. The coffee was transported in plastic jugs, that we ended up having to serve out of due to the catering staff forgetting the coffee urns. One of the employees stated that we did not order the urns & was very quiet once the contract was submitted for review. It was then mentioned it was someone else's fault back at their office. Where's the accountability? More so

Upon reaching out to them I was quickly sent an extensive menu (by the way, whoever wrote that is good with words - everything really sounds as good as it tastes). Once I narrowed things down, Roxanne helped me pin down an exact menu for the day - even suggesting in one case that I order less than I was considering. I really appreciated that honesty! We used W. Millar on a recommendation. They were amazing. They offer more than the standard caterer. The prices seem to be in line with other caterers in the DC area. All of our attendees commented on the food options and I was happy with the ability to have gluten free, vegetarian, and other allergies all accommodated. Jackson was so easy to work with and he always responded in a timely manner. I have already shared their information with other planners in my office.

Customer service is vital to the success of any customer based company. It will make and break your business overnight. That being said, I ordered from W Millar for an 11:45 lunch. My delivery window noted on the invoice was slated for between 11 & 12. Knowing that 12:00 would be too late as we were on a tight schedule, I made it clear to the sales rep that 12:00 would be too late. I stressed that it had to be delivered by or before 11:30. She suggested that we keep the window. My lunch was delivered at 10:30. We were having all day meetings, so we barely had time to clear breakfast and here

I use them for my office doing events from 10-200 people. The food, prices and service are stellar every time. They have excellent room temperature fancy lunch options that are nice enough for a professional meeting but don't require staff or heating elements. Thanks W Millar for such wonderful service!!!! :)

I use lots of caterers for different needs, and to be fair WMillar is one of my favorite; however, lately they have been lacking in their quality. Not sure what's happening with them, my orders lately have been a disaster. They had a lobster roll for their sandwich of the month and I ordered service for 10 and selected 5 types of sandwiches. They only gave me 1 lobster roll sandwich. They are so petty when it comes to seafood, do not order anything with shrimp, you will barely get shrimp.

So after using this caterer for years, it's come to this. I wanted to order food for two separate meetings occurring on the same day. Now, I know this was in the month of December which is when everyone and their mother have Christmas office parties but I expected better treatment. I called and explained what I wanted and the date that I was having the events. I told the sales manager that I wanted boxed lunches for the first meeting and hot lunch for the second meeting. She told me that because it was the holidays, they are not doing boxed lunches--fine. I decided to just order the hot lunch

I had a pick up order because work was having an event. I will say that it was a pleasure to interact with Erika (I believe). We shot emails back and forth and she was always extremely nice and helpful. I think after reading stale email voices all day, it was just extremely refreshing to read an email with a bubbly tone to it.
Anyways, we ordered 25 cookie/dessert orders, with each order coming with 2 pieces. It did the job for a group of 30 and could definitely feed more. It also came with orchids and strawberries as decorations so it was nicely presented.
