Mark Perez is the owner of Makakilo Physical Therapy & Wellness, a home-based practice where he provides individualized one-on-one care to clients on Oahu's west side. Integrating land and aquatic rehabilitation strategies, Mark specializes in working with swimmers, paddlers, surfers, and post-op spine, shoulder, knee, and hip patients.
His fifteen years of clinical expertise in sports medicine afforded him the opportunity to work with elite surfers on Oahu's professional surfing circuit since 2011 which include the Van's Triple Crown of Surfing, Da Hui Shootout, Volcom Pipe Pro, HIC Pro Sunset Beach and the Sunset Open. Research has proven how preparing your body for surgery through pre-surgery rehab is just as important as post-op rehab.
