Little Mexico

Such a great place to eat. I've never had a bad experience in the years I've been going here. Food is fantastic, price is great, and the location though nearly at the edge of town is very accessible.

O YAH.
All I really care about is tacos.
Yesterday I had a steak and shrimp tacos from here.
Somebody knows something about running a restaurant and serving good food for a great price.
Who ever put the money up fir this place knows what’s going on.
I’ve ate some of the best Mexican food in Colorado this place is right up there.
Mexico does have tacos this good.
Next time I need my taco fix.
I will be back.

I admit I went into this place expecting very little. I grew up in NM surrounded by amazing Mexican food. I didn't expect anything serious from a joint in a small town in Illinois.
I was seriously impressed. We had a large group of 12 and everyone was pleased with their meals. Their "Trio" appetizer is outstanding. Meats were tender and full of flavor. The salsa was good and all of the sauces were good too.
The place was busy but the servers were very efficient and the orders didn't take long in spite of it being a large group.
Strongly recommend.

Fabulous "Street tacos". The trio was pretty good - love the Pico de Gallo on the guacamole. Service was amazing, especially in light of the large crowd (including our table of about 12 people) We kinda nosh'd instead of eating meals. I especially gave our server a big tip. I'm sure he was worried a large table of just appetizers might not tip well - but he still hustled his hinder for us! Yay!

Food was tender, flavorful and fast. I was very impressed with how quickly everything arrived from the kitchen and yet wasn't undercooked. Wait staff was very friendly and didn't miss a beat despite being a busy weekend shift. I'd like to come back and try more of the menu!

I was afraid that I wouldn't find good Mexican food in a little town but this place hit the spot. Parking was ample. Seating & service was quick. Food was more than enough and priced decently. Got horchata, sweetea, steak & shrimp and enchiladas verdes. On the enchiladas, you get (1) beef, (1) cheese and (1) Chicken. Steak was tender and flavorful. I'll be hitting up this place more now that I've found it. 😊

They were crowded but did have a table. The salsa and chips are good, but we didn't get more which is why I have 4 stars. My chicken fajita nachos were served hot and the veggies were good sized bites. I would have liked a more fajita spice flavor.

We had a young server and he was super nice! Great atmosphere with AMAZING Al Pastor Mexican Style (street) Tacos. The restaurant was clean and the chips&salsa was delicious. The bathrooms were a little small and cold but not horrible, could use a space heater.
