Kozak's Laketown Grill
At KoZak's we are dedicated to maintaining a local restaurant that consistently delivers affordable, made from scratch, and uniquely presented American cuisine. The idea of KoZak's Laketown Grill began in December of 2012. Owners Brian & Jacquie Hove began their dream to own their own restaurant solely to improve their quality of life together for their family.

Based on this, they named their Restaurant after their two sons, Kobe and Zach. A KoZak's we pride ourselves in offering Local Beers and Wines. Our full bar offers us the availability to create signature drinks you won't find any where but KoZak's. When we started thinking about our desserts at KoZak's we knew they had to be as special as our cuisine.

Great food, best customer service by the manager and all staff. I would recommend promotion as the vibes in that place were super chill. xoxo - spill the tea eatery critic

This place is our favorite local restaurant in Smithville. The food is always amazing and the staff is super nice. Never a huge line to get in, but always packed. Our favorites are the pretzels and beer cheese, the salmon salad, the salmon and risotto with asparagus. They also make reallly good ribs, but those are usually a special on the menu.

The Kozak burger was PERFECTION! Char grilled, cheddar cheese, with tasty/crispy bacon. Presentation was pleasing, food temperature perfect. Service was excellent and the atmosphere was pleasant, not overly loud so us boomers could easily carry on a conversation LOL. Water needs to be filtered to remove the taste.

The steak soup was good. My adult niece didn't care for the shrimp tacos, too much breading. I had a salad, for the money it could have been bigger. Nice atmosphere. Nice staff.

You've got to try the Asian BBQ Pork Nachos! Best EVER. Drive on up from KC - it's worth the drive! Or make a day of it at Smithville Lake 👌

Awesome lunch! Butcher's Blend burger and Salmon BLT. Enjoyed social distancing on the patio. First time we'd been out to eat since the start of the pandemic and felt very safe.

This was a great find down the road in the big town of Smithville. The brisket grilled cheese was great!highly recommend it. Everything on the menu looked good. Hard choices. Looks like all the food is comfort food. Very pleasant atmosphere and staff were very friendly. By the way the peach cobbler was great! Wish I could give more stars.

It's the little things that make a place like Kozaks a great place to eat. The ice tea today was about as perfect as I have ever had at any restaurant. Crystal clear icy brown tea brewed to perfection. It's the little things!
We ordered the Mushroom Swiss burger and the Tenderloin Sandwich for lunch today. The mushroom swiss burger was cooked to perfection with a perfectly grilled bun and swiss cheese dripping on the plate after each bite. A diet sandwich this is not. One of the best hamburgers in KC.
Unfortunately our tenderloin sandwich was not all that and bag of chips. It was overcooked,

Attended a Chefs vs. Cooks event where we voted on each of 3 courses. All the food was fantastic & flavorful. Super friendly staff and a fun place to watch our Chiefs win. Nice beer list and specialty drinks.
