Tamarind Place Apartments

Peak reality is the third management company that has taken over within the last three yrs and the WORST!!!! the representative that they have here is very combative and didn't even take the time to know the correct names of the people who rent here when the names are clearly on the lease. the rent is going up by $600 on top of what we're already paying for apartments that only look nice online

These apartments are not worth $1000 and are not fit to live in. All of these apartment need to be remodeled. They paint over stuff and do patch work to hide the ongoing and constant problem in these apartments. The trash cans are always overflowing with trash bags surrounding them and blocking the doorway. The old owners were money hungry and didn’t care about making repairs nor fixing anything and the new owners are the same way..Both Wellington Advisors and Peak Realty are slumlords in fancy attire. The only thing that has changed about these apartments is the name to Cape Fear Townhouses

Unfortunately my experience with this place was horrendous to say the least. All starts at the helm with Barbara D. Butler so called “property manager”. I’m 14 yrs active duty with secret clearance. Yes I’m Latino with a common Latino name. This lady took my $45 for a half fast background check. I have almost 800 points credit score. Apparently my background check came back with apparent charges in several states. The names that appeared were not my actual name and this lady is sooo inept that she couldn’t use common sense and differentiate the anomaly. If I was a criminal, I couldn’t

Stayed here for two years and it has been great. It’s a quiet area and not much traffic compared to the other side of town. My parking space is directly in front of my house. Anything that I needed to be fixed took no longer than a day or two, if that. The management has been awesome also. Very friendly!

Absolutely loved this place while living here. Quiet, safe, great location. Would give 5 stars but, I moved out on the 1st, my place my rented DAYS later so there obviously was no damages and it's been over 3 weeks and I still haven't received my security deposit back. $635..... every time I call I'm given the run around that "it's in the mail"....

Great team supporting the residents. Quiet area. Nice homes and living price is definitely lower than its worth. The manager works with through any life situations you come across. You respect her she respects and takes care of you.
