I had an incredible experience working with Stephanie and her team at Bell & Shah.

We contacted four firms and all four were selected based on reviews from google, Yelp. One of them said they were too busy, a huge firm did not bother to get back , third one replied and fourth was Stephanie from Bell & Shah, who replied in 3 hours of our initial contact.
We were specifically looking for a firm who were willing to do real estate contracts for us as we planned not to shop around with an agent. Stephanie was willing and the other firm was not willing.

I do not recommend working with Avni Shah. Avni acted more like an administrative assistant than a seasoned real estate attorney, providing neither critical counsel nor contract review. Ms. Shah pushed standard forms without attention to my unique needs - and seemed bothered if I asked clarifying questions. Avni repeatedly threatened termination when challenged or when an error was questioned. She dropped the ball on a couple closing-related matters and then blamed other professionals for her oversight.

We worked with Stephanie to help close the sale of our condo after moving out of Chicago. It was absolutely painless and easy, at least from my POV. I had several questions regarding some complicated county taxes and homeowner exemption from years past and it all got worked out. Megan was helpful with coordinating this as well.
