Greetings! I moved in mid Nov 2021 and have had a positive experience so far. Leasing agent, Aliza, worked with me from showing the apartment to moving in. Upon moving in and doing my inspection, I did find a few problems but maintenance came quickly and fixed the problems. I can admit I read reviews before moving in and it had me a little anxious but not everyone’s experience is my own. I really love the layout and upgrades in my apartment. So far, so good. I’m happy.

Honestly, very relaxed place to live. there are lots of families and pets here, everyone is very friendly. i lived alone and felt very safe. it is a breath of fresh air in the city, old trees and landscaping which means birds and squirrels. my cats loved to sit on the balcony and birdwatch.
i moved in fall of 2020, my unit wasn't quite ready but they were wonderful about accommodating - plus it's a pandemic, we are all doing our best. huge unit for the cheapest i've seen in dallas.

I never write google reviews but I feel that this has gone on too long. DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!!!!!!!!
I moved in late March 2021. The kitchen was destroyed upon move in. It was completely unusable. The apartment was disgusting and dirty. Previous residents food was left in the fridge and cabinets, plugs did not work, no doors on laundry room closet, no running water in master bath, no hot water, no tub drain, dirty ice coming from the ice maker, fridge missing the inside shelfs, dirt everywhere. This place is horrible! Not only is the actual apartments falling apart and very old. There is also a roach infestation. I went an entire year with repairs from the day of move in that never got repaired. That’s not all. The apartments never sent out a 60 day renewal letter (now I know why) they called two weeks before I moved out which was in September (I have kept a record of all conversations and emails) and asked will I be renewing I quickly said no I will be honoring my lease and why haven’t I received anything from them. First, I’d like to say that when I first moved into this complex 3 years ago, I loved it. The apartment I moved into had minimal issues and I never had any problems with management.
However, I’ve moved into a different unit on the complex and it has been the most horrible experience. First, you can tell the complex just “flipped” the new apartment instead of actually fixing anything. There are so many layers of paint, it’s crazy. And they didn’t lay anything down to protect the floors or counters because there are paint splatters on everything. Nothing was caulked correctly (see pictures

This is a review from a non resident. I simply went over to drop a friend off. The most expensive favor I have ever done for someone. When I arrived, the entrance gate was open (that’s not safe) so I entered, dropped off my friend and proceeded to drive around to the next set of gates to exit, which had both gates closed. I should have turned around and came the same way that I entered, because the gates open outward and as I exited, the exit gate opened out and the side for people to enter opened in, even though no one was entering on that side. Needless to say, the gate hit and damaged my car

Hello Dear Resident, as of sSeptember 10th, 2021, The Brandt will be enforced towing for any vehicles for the following reason below:
Any cars parked under a carport with out no sticker will be towed immediately with out a 24 hours’ notice.
Parking is not allowed on grass, sidewalks in front of trash bins, fire lanes or other spaces that are reserved for other residents or handy cap persons.
Under NO circumstances should motorcycles or fuel powered vehicles be kept inside an apartment, patio balcony or on sidewalk because this creates fired hazards.
No boats, trailers, campers or other recreational

Long story really short, the manager here is rude and not very good at her job. There's probably better places to live near by. they also dont fix anything on site so the pool, gym, gate will stay broken for months.
Edit: i have contacted corporate over Iris Flores. Since she is the manager, and felt it appropriate to be condescending and leave her staff with with tenants whose issues she couldn't resolve, we have contacted corporate. The rest of the staff was perfectly professional and kind. Iris, however, was far from it.

My boyfriend Stay here and its a wonderful community I would say . I like the apartments here. But they are least bother about the visit of outsiders to their common areas like pool and all. In summer you may see whole Irving here lol . Me and my boyfriend go to pool when we feel its less crowdy and more safe.
