Great room. We had the basic room and it was clean modern and updated. Good decor. Very functional. Included fridge, microwave, coffee maker, dvd player, plenty of towels. Good lighting and strong shower. Very quiet street and easy access of to the beach. The view of the beach and ocean from every room is spectacular. Friendly staff checking in and out and offered tips of where to go in the city
Disliked · They perfume the room before we came and it was overwhelming. We had to keep the window open to try and diffuse it it's the kind of scent that they use to cover any and all unwanted odors.

I am giving the Salor Jack a poor review 😢 on this trip.
We spent New Year eve & New Year day and the weather was perfect. Crisp blue sky no wind and the lounge chairs on the patio overlooking the ocean looked peaceful. I went down and sat in one of the lounge chairs relaxing and listening to the ocean when a maintenance worker with a leaf blower starts blowing sand right at my chair and my feet. Like was not there . This is New Years Day!!! Could they have put that off for another day?? Ugg. So unbelievable. Then when we brought in our dinner we had no place to eat.. they didn't have a table

View was spectacular!! Employees were phenomenal! I give the rating I do only because water ran in the next door unit ALL NIGHT AND ALL DAY, until we asked the desk person to come listen. So not much sleep the first night. Maybe add a small dresser for those that like to stay more than two days, just so you don’t feel

an amputee in a wheel chair, we had to park on the other side of lot. Love the dead end. We may come back, we were down for our 24th anniversary

This place is great. Room was spotless clean with a modern look. Microwave, fridge, TV and all other fixtures were new. Located on a private dead end road away from all noise and it's right on the beach. Ocean view is amazing and it looks like all the rooms have ocean view. This was my first time here and absolutely super stoked I stumbled onto this place. Staff was friendly and accommodating and made me feel welcome and like my business was appreciated. Fabulous motel right on the beach. Newly owned, our room was all new and modern, spotlessly clean, gorgeous picture window view and fireplace. Dog friendly-$15 per dog, access to the beach, nice balconies in lower level plus seating area for everyone overlooking the beach. We loved it, and not expensive. Found this motel by accident because we were looking for dog friendly and will now be our go to place in Lincoln city.

We stayed in a corner suite and the view was absolutely amazing! The staff was attentive and thorough. We liked it so much we decided to stay another night, we did have to change rooms as ours was booked for the next night but that's when we transferred from the deluxe king with a fireplace to the corner king with a fireplace and kitchenette. The amenities complete and the room spotless. Sailor Jack's will be our new go-to in Lincoln City!

It was perfect! If I could give more stars I would!! My husband and I stayed there for 5 days to celebrate our 10 year anniversary and we couldn't have picked a better spot! The staff was super friendly and the rooms were clean. We got the king suite and it was one of the only hotels to have stairs leading straight to the beach. We will be staying here again soon!

DO NOT MAKE A RESERVATION HERE! This Inn is very shady and fraudulent. I made a reservation for 2 rooms on September 25, 2020 for 2 rooms for October 2 for 1 night. I then sent a email cancelling the rooms the very next day (September 26th) cancelling the reservation with the booking number the hotel provided me by email. They then proceeded to charge my credit card for the reservation stating that I only cancelled 1 room. Even though I sent them all documentation showing the cancellation sent 5 days earlier! The manager (Angie) that I spoke to was completely unprofessional and has no business

Probably one of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had. First of all the hotel is in a great location with awesome beach access. But that's where the good part ends. The hotel is old- slightly updated but rickety stairs and no air conditioning. When we were there the phones weren't working so we had to use our cell phone to call MULTIPLE TIMES about the drunk loud people smoking and partying right under our window for SEVERAL HOURS. Totally not worth the price we paid at all. Next time we will stay at The Starfish Inn for a few bucks more.

Beautiful place to stay room are very clean updated. Front desk staff was so friendly and all the other staff I ran into on the property were very nice. My only complaint was the pillows but again I am very picky on pillows. Will be back again, so stay here it is worth it. Nice and quiet when we were here and place was sold out. The views from our room was amazing.

There was also a wet used face towel on the sink.
Upon speaking with the very rude front office lady, she told us there were no rooms available and we couldn't get our money returned.
They are also spraying for bugs in the rooms too as we were approached when we exited our room and the employee asked where the bugs were that needed sprayed.
When we asked for our money back, she started yelling at us and threatening us.
She interrupted us many times while yelling for another employee to come help her argue.

This place is amazing for the price. Tons have been updated, have nice flooring, nice clean new baths, sinks, toilets, modern furniture and lighting, gas fireplace, and nice wall decor! Beds were decent, pillows are amazing! Oceanfront rooms, great views, beach access and pet friendly. They could use a little improvement in pet area, but they have one so I can't complain too much. We'll be coming back here for sure. We've stayed at some pretty crappy places for more money.

What a gem! Could not ask for more "ocean view" than this! We have stayed in quite a few dog friendly places and this was one of the cleanest we've been in. Great beach access. Walkable to Hwy 101 for coffee, food, etc. The only cons during the visit were the thin walls (dude next door was quite the snorer) and the smell of people smoking cigarettes when our window was open. We will definitely be back.

Looking for a beautiful view and have your dogs with you? This is the place! Nothing fancy about Sailor Jacks. But hey, who cares!! I don't need fancy when I can have my dogs and sit and look at the ocean right up front!

I've stayed here multiple times but the last time was the WORST. Not only did my dog find a cold medicine bottle that was left behind by the cleaners but there was construction happening literally right above us that started early in the morning. They knocked on the door AS it was happening to let us know. Which if I would have known that, I wouldn't have booked. They said it happens everyday. So BEWARE. Won't be staying here again.

The reviews I'd read made me a bit skeptical about staying here but OMG this place is amazing! Very clean rooms with a BEAUTIFUL view. The rooms are small but just as big as many hotel rooms in this town. Nice location,feels secluded but is less than 5 min to walk to all those great shops on 101. For $65 a night this is a steal!
