It’s almost a shame to write a poor review because the actual living experience was decent. However, management/ownership can best be described as abysmal and predatory. A couple of small stains that existed prior to moving in that were passable to hand the unit to us, suddenly became “large stained areas that warranted the carpet being replaced in both rooms”. The TV stand literally sat where the stains were the entire duration of our stay. Any new/existing tenant would be wise to take extensive pictures before/after moving in. Don’t expect a security deposit back, expect to pay hundreds

By far, the worst living and moving experience in my personal rental history. As proffered by the other negative reviews, I am more than inclined to echo similar utter dissatisfaction with The Village At Avon Apartments. In fact, since moving, I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, and the Ohio Attorney General (for suspect business practices).

The community is nice and clean. The people there are friendly. But the prices are extortionist.
They also have some shady practices with what they charge for since they changed ownership. When moving out, suddenly the pet deposit became a pet fee. Although we have record from the previous owners of it being a deposit. We also had to pay an ungodly amount of money to break contract. Sadly, within the 1 and a half years we lived there we never got to experience any of their “amenities” due to the pandemic, which includes general maintenance requests.

Prospective tenant to qualify this review. I was recently looking at these and have to say the leasing agent, Josh, was so attentive, helpful, and friendly. He used text to answer questions and even offered extra options to fit my budget and ideals. The townhouses have a 2-car garage with small bedrooms and living room. They didn't appear very updated, but they were clean and the neighborhood seemed safe. The neighbors at one were so friendly and cheerful, which was wonderful. I want to transplant them to where I chose so they can be my neighbors! Location is fantastic right off I-90 and easy access

The aesthetics of the grounds is just beautiful. It's very peaceful and quiet here. While *riding through the complex all you see is beautiful green grass and every unit with its own shrubs and flowers that creates a lot of visual interest along with the pounds with water features. For me, I did have a couple of maintenance request that was completed in a timely manner, which was very refreshing to have. So far it has been a good experience.

Everything has been so nice, organized, and well put together for this move in. Josh showed us around the community and after I signed the lease sent a very organized break down of my move in charges and what I will be paying monthly. The apartment was so clean and the neighborhood is very well put together, clean, and the people are friendly. I am so happy I chose The Village at Avon!

We have been here one month. Perfect place for us to live out our retirement years. Everyone is so friendly, Josh in Leasing Office, all the maintenance crew, and all the neighbors we meet when walking or just sitting on the porch. I would especially like to give the MAINTENANCE crew an extra thank you for all you have done to make us feel like we are in our home and not an apartment. You are prompt, you are friendly, and you have fixed any issue we have requested in such a quick turn around. We want to thank all of you. Anyone that is thinking of leasing here, you won't regret it. Beautiful setting

My husband and I have lived here for 4-5 years. Since the change in management everything has been amazing. We love living here and love the pool in the summer! Management is great so is the maintenances. Something is fixed no less then 24-48 hours- they even replaced the microwave when it stopped working very quickly. Highly recommend

The reviews that are on here now are OLD! The property is under new management. The staff is SUPER friendly! My husband and I (just married) have been here for 3 years. We are waiting for the right time for a new home. The staff provides alerts, updates, and news through email which is quite convenient. You can pay your rent and request maintenance online. I have never waiting more than 24 hours for a maintenance call-they are QUICK! The pool has been remodeled and the workout equipment and room is brand new and updated! They renovate the apartments with updated textiles and appliances when someone

Very happy with moving in here! The leasing office is on point but the best part is how they handle maintenance.
Russ and the maintenance manager Dan are so friendly and do great work!
I've stayed in places where I might call for one thing but remember that there are a few things that have to be done and they tell me to call it in so they can submit a work order and come back to do it! Not so at the Village at Avon. The washer machine got clogged and Russ and Dan came out to fix it. While they were fixing it, I remembered that there were a few other things that needed a little tweak upon move
