We opted for extra chips and salsa with our meal but when we got home we saw that it wasn't included. No big deal. It's just chips and salsa. And the place is PACKED on Friday nights.
About 15 minutes after we got home we got a call from them. They apologized for the inconvenience and let us know they were ready if we wanted to pick them up. We live pretty close by so it was nothing to swing back by. Plus we really like their salsa.
MFW there's a gift certificate included with our chips!!
We've been ordering from them for years. Missed chips and salsa wasn't going to change our opinion of them

Excellent restaurant! A lot of us went as a group and the food was great. I had the taco salad which had a generous portion of meat and love the shell it was served in. I also had the fried ice cream and loved that too. The others in our group had the meals which looked delicious. The chips and salsa were also very good. Wish we had this in Lewisburg😊

It was OK. Drinks are exceptionally cheap....good for getting a buzz, but not for the lack of sugar and sour mix. Good Service, but Cheap cuts of meat explain the great cheap prices. Not very many specialty drink choices in the margarita department..but very Friendly, welcoming though. Local place at best. No need to travel here with all of the other options in the Triangle area in my opinion. If you live close by definitely check it out!

Their salsa, chips and guacamole are delicious. We ordered tacos, burritos and Chile rellenos. The rice and beans lacked salt, the Chile relleno was a stuffed pepper with ground beef inside not a Mexican Chile relleno with cheese. It seems the food has a Central American vibe. I'd come back for the chips and guacamole

There are many better Mexican places around town. My medium size margarita was mostly mix, very little tequila in it. Food was average, fairly bland. Good chips but the salsa was thin and watery. Place was packed for dinner and felt very rushed. From order to checkout was 25 minutes. Could have had a better meal at taco bell for a half the price.

Horrible experience.. texas strawberry margarita reminded me of a snowcone with food coloring and no liquor.. my husband got the fajitas and it taste like curry seasoning or brown sugar was in it either way a little weird to me. i asked them if i could switch the margarita for a tall beer and they said no i still had to pay for it.. I ordered the simple chicken enchiladas and they were so bland, no veggies included at all! The rice and beans were blah. I am used to a high caliber Mexican food and this was disappointing. I will not be back!

Good food and great margaritas. The customer service is very good here. The staff is super friendly and the food comes out to your table very quickly after ordering. I was shocked at how quickly my order came to my table. Lots of tables and a nice bar set up. Great place to grab a couple drinks and some really good food. Large portions for a good price. Highly recommend.

El Senor is good in some ways, not so good in others. I like them for the most part but I have had trouble getting ground beef that isn't still pink. The last time I ordered something with ground beef and I sent it back because it was still pink, they brought me another plate (supposedly) that was cooked more but the beef was still pink. I steer clear of the ground beef and I'm good now. My husband loves the pork fajitas. They're a little dry for my taste but I love the chicken and beef fajitas. So I'd skip the rare ground beef and then you should be great.

It was great... i got the three shrimp tacos and ate every last bite. There could be more topping options, even onions but it was just lettuce and cheese so that was a bit lazy to me. great food and service, i called in to have something added to my bag and it was in there when it got delivered so I thank them for taking care of my order! :)

It's been awhile since I've visited this location. I struggled to decide on my rating because the staff were very attentive and speed of service was on point. This issue was overall food quality. The salsa tasted like canned tomato sauce, the rice was wilted and flavorless. The chicken filament for the burrito was pretty decent, it had some flavor and was moist. I also ordered the beef tip enchilada, the beef reminded me of cubed deli roast beef. No flavor, spongy texture. I know a lot of folks love this place and I'm glad their food preference is such, but it's just not there

What an experience!! Me and my friend went to El Senor for lunch the other day and really enjoyed our food. I got the fajitas with chicken and beef and it was totally worth it. Also because it was on a Tuesday their lunch special was $6 fajitas. $6!!!!!! You can't beat that. The only negative I will say is I only like mild salsa with my chips and theirs tasted like watered-down marinara sayce. Other than that I highly enjoyed my food.
