Services
What distinguishes us from other jewelers is Pierre's ability to translate a customer's concept into a one-of-a-kind jewelry piece. Making jewelry is an intricate, multi-step process, all of which is managed exclusively by Pierre in our La Mesa facility and with the customer's vision in mind. Custom pieces are often completed in a few weeks and surprisingly, cost little if any more than off-the-shelf jewelry.
After 15+ years of wear, I took my platinum and diamond wedding set to Pierre for resizing and reshaping. Pierre suggested that I solder my heirloom engagement ring and wedding band to maintain long-term integrity of the rings, and a week later my rings have been restored to their original beauty and shine -- they are absolutely perfect!

I really wanted to support this local business and buy a band here, however, I didn't come back after my initial visit.
I went on a morning that wasn't busy at all so I was glad I had time to browse and maybe try on a few bands. With two other couples in the shop, the gentleman who helped me made me feel rushed. He answered my questions vaguely and seemed annoyed when I asked to try on one band while he had helped out the couple before me with clear enthusiasm.
It would have been great if he suggested that I made an appointment if that's what was preferred instead of being made

I stopped in to see Samir and we hashed out a beautiful ring designed in white gold in a three piece setting held by diamond tipped posts. Quite a masterpiece in my opinion. We love Pierre's Jewelers. It is a family business, they make jewelry in house and everything is beautiful! The owners are fair and honest with their prices. Recently I needed to do some maintenance and cleaning work on some diamond rings and I have been pleasantly surprised at how great Pierre's is! The owner is super helpful, honest and does not try to up sale you on anything that is not actually aligned with what you need/want. They are beyond professional and super easy to work with. I get the sense I can trust them fully. For this reason I am referring all my friends and family here. I won't name names, but I will say I visited a few other jewelers in the area and did not feel the same. I whole-heartedly recommend Pierre's.

I was looking for a jewelry store to replace the back on my diamond stud. I stopped at Pierre’s because I was in La Mesa to get my hair done. What a great find. I didn’t have an appointment, but Pierre stopped everything, found a back for me at a very nice price, and went on to check my diamonds on the rest of my jewelry while I waited. He tightened 2 diamonds, again at a very reasonable price, while I waited. At my age I can’t see myself buying more jewelry, but this is my new go to place for repairs. I will recommend Pierre’s to anyone looking for fine jewelry and a pleasant experience

I took an elder friend to Pierre so she could sell her gold. Pierre has been in business for 38 years. His wife works with him. They've been together for 30 years. The two of them were very accommodating. They were closed because of the recent riots, but they agreed to see my friend. They gave her a fair price for her gold. Quite possibly, they gave her the best price available. I'm writing this review because I was impressed with Pierre and his wife, Beatrix. Came here a couple weeks ago to get my brother's chain fixed. Pierre was very informative and very helpful. Took him a while and I don't recall getting a call when it was done, so I went in unannounced three weeks later and it had been done for about a week. A little expensive but I would trust to go back here. Pierre really knows what he's doing and is very friendly, otherwise.

As a new customer, I brought Pierres a job that I thought might be impossible. in fact I said "no worries if you find that there's no way to fix this."
One of my husbands first gifts to me 23 years ago was a glass perfume decanter. I have treasured it and taken good care of it but----OMG-----about two weeks ago the glass stopper broke off with the bottom half stuck in the decanter.
Pierre is evidently quite the wizard. He saved the decanter plus it works for perfume again. And he did the job for free.

We stopped by Pierre's today and to say they were a help is an understatement. We had some jewelry we needed appraised from a Family member who passed and he was thorough and very knowledgeable about the pieces. We learned a lot about the jewelry and he offered a very fair price for the items he was interested in.

Pierre is very courteous and professional. I was happy to go to a family owned business and my mom has been dealing with him since I was a kid. I got a very fair deal on a ring and the final product was made from scratch and much more than my fiancé and I were hoping for. She has been showing it to everyone since.
My only criticism is that he said he would call with an update twice and did not. It wasn't a big deal since it wasn't a rush.
