Traveling to a baseball tournament, and we had time to stay a little longer and decided to stay in Deadwood. The location is right in the middle of Main Street and all the action. Limited area to park and check in, streets are somewhat narrow. Check in process was easy. Parking lot is down the street a bit so be prepared to walk a little. We were on the 2nd floor, the hotel is so clean! Our room was spacious, nice and clean. For an older building, we were very impressed and surprised. All amenities were offered, mini fridge, microwave big bathroom etc. Being able to just walk to all of the attractions

We stayed in a non-smoking King room. The room was clean but cluttered. There were too many items (in my opinion) in the King room. There was the microwave, refrigerator, tv, tv stand, chair, and two-person bench pushed against the wall by the bed. Maybe remove the chair? I'm not complaining but trying to offer some ideas to make it less crowded. …
Also, due to COVID, there was not housekeeping, which was understandable. We appreciate the fact that there were towels left on the 3rd floor so we could obtain clean towels. A suggestion might be to also offer some additional trash can liners

This hotel sits PERFECTLY center in the town of Deadwood. It's walking distance to a bunch of the towns features no matter the weather!
It's SO CLEAN inside I felt very safe here. Staff was nice and helpful.
Also, the complimentary breakfast still offered a Hot item (pancakes) even with Covid restrictions.
10/10 would recommend to a friend and would stay here again!

Super cute remodeled hotel right in the middle of the "strip". Exceptionally clean and staff was really great. Free valet parking is great since they have guests utilize the parking garage a couple of blocks away. We came at the end of sturgis week. A lot of activities and specials, however our room was an exterior room next to the highway and it was very loud almost constantly. I understand sturgis Is loud and we came at that time, however it would be nice of they could do some kind of sound buffer for those exterior rooms. Other than that we had a great stay and would definitely come

One of the few non-casino hotels in Deadwood, yet still close to the main thoroughfare in the city. Given the proximity to nightlife, the rooms are relatively quiet.
Gold Dust aims to provide a boutique experience in a rough 'n' tumble city. The lobby is well designed and gives off that vibe. Rooms are ok, nothing too luxurious or special. But ours was clean and safe and that's all that matters. Who's going to hang out inside the hotel when there's so much going on outside?
Beyond gambling, there's other things to do within walking distance of Gold Dust: wine tasting

Room with King bed was very small. Bathroom had used towels hanging on the back of the door. Sleep number bed was not that comfortable...that was the first time we slept in one and maybe we didn't know how to use it properly. The young lady at the check in desk was very friendly. The valet parking was a pleasant surprise!

Although the rooms were pretty small we enjoyed our room. It was very clean, updated and the bed was very comfortable. The staff was SUPER friendly and VERY helpful. We definitely enjoyed the free valet and they had no problem driving us to where we wanted to go! The service definitely made it an enjoyable stay! Will stay there again!
