If You are new to US and Grand Rapids is your destination then this is the best apartment to live. We enjoyed our 1 year stay here. Response time is quick. But could be more people friendly disciplinary rules are very tough.

We moved out back in September after living here for 2 years. We enjoyed living at Green Ridge. Maintenance was speedy and professional. Kathy at the office was very nice when I spoke to her on the phone before I moved in and after I moved out. Overall, the apartment was clean and well-maintained. Loved how there are washer and dryer right in the unit. Still waiting for our deposit return. Hope we will get it soon.

If I could leave a half star I would. They make up rules that are not clearly defined in their contracts or leasing agreements. And when someone dares to confront them about it they decide to evict the tenants without a stated reason. So for future residents, if you plan on decorating your balcony in any fashion be prepared for the “aesthetic” police to harass you about it (meaning property management). Oh and don’t forget that “you aren’t allowed to have any patio furniture out but plenty of current residents do and are not being harassed about it, just certain residents that the complex

I lived here back in 2007, came to check them out again. The only thing I found was the same apartment from over a decade ago. No new upgrades, dated appliances, old carpet, and the list caries on. The one thing I did find was overly priced rent, for absolutely no improvements. Management isn’t the friendliest either. Check around before you settle for an outdated overpriced place to live.

I've been living here for about two months and so far, my boyfriend and I love it! It's a great first apartment for any young adult starting out. The grounds are well kept and beautiful, the apartment itself was clean when we moved in and spacious. My only complaint is our neighbors, and we've been trying to work out our issues with maintenance or the manager of the complex, but nothing seems to get done. All they do is constantly blast music 24/7 and fight with one another, disrupting our sleep when I have to go to work early the next day. I know this isn't exactly the complex's fault, but I wish

I've lived here for 5 years. The staff are nice, but they never follow through on anything. Only emergency maintenance calls are addressed.
Again, I have lived here for 5 years, and all I'm rewarded with is increases in rent EVERY YEAR. I would seriously give 0 stars if I could.
When we first moved in, the places' carpets were already stained and tore up in some places. Practically had to beg the property manager to get new carpet. The carpet they installed is probably the cheapest carpet available on the market. It only took a couple months of normal foot traffic to cause the carpet to start

I lived here for 2 years. I’ve had absolutely zero issues. It was very quiet all hours of the day. The staff at the leasing office was always SO friendly whenever I had to go in. I had an end unit which offered extra space, and an amazing view out back. The location of the complex is nestled back where it’s quiet, but yet it’s close to everything on Alpine, and to the freeway. I’ve enjoyed living here during the last two years.

Apartments are really old, internet connection is poor, service requests are always delayed and never get an apartment in 1st floor. Believe me, I lived in two apartments in the 1st floor and both of them get wet from the water in the ground and these guys take a lot of time to clean and dry it. Wouldn’t recommend moving here but again great for bachelors looking for cheap apartments.
