I've known the owner and his instructors for several years now. Extremely holistic in their teaching - not only of form and technique -- but especially in respect, pride in ones accomplishments, and involvement in the community. We now live in Saint Paul - so a bit far for ATA in Chanhassen, but if we lived closer, it would be a privilege for us to allow our son Liu to take further instruction from this crew! 5-star!

ATA Chanhassen Family Martial Arts is the best kept secret in town that everyone needs to know about! These guys are amazing! The instructors are extremely knowledgeable, and teach our kids the life skills that so many are lacking today! I looked around, and there is no one better in the area! You need to check them out!

Our entire family takes Taekwondo classes together. I love how they are encouraging and welcoming for everyone and help each student achieve their personal best. The instructors are very good with our elementary aged children and our children are learning discipline, focus and personal responsibility. Highly recommend!

When you think of martial arts what is it that you think of? Give this school a try and ill bet you that you will be pleasantly pleased with what you find here. These instructors are trained not only in self defense, pumsea forms, traditional Taekwondo techniques, and traditional weaponry. But will also help you and your family in confidence, self esteem, discipline, respect, perseverance,and self control, and your goals. And do all of it while bonding AND training as a family. This place is very different from others. Try it and I think you will be happy you did. You can talk to any of these instructors

Awesome instructors and a great environment. My son and I started our black belt journey a couple of years ago when he was 6. Martial arts improved his confidence, focus in school, and helped him become more self discipline. After he received his black belt, he continues to lead by example and thrive towards excellence. Thanks to the instructors who are encouraging and motivating. I would recommend ATA to both kids and parents.

ATA Chanhassen provides top notch Taekwondo instruction in a very family oriented environment. Their instructors are incredible at teaching all levels of students from the Tiny Tigers up to higher degree Black Belts. They encourage students to always do their best and teach important life lessons as well. My son has been attending ATA Chanhassen since we moved here just over two years ago and he loves it. He has progressed further than I could have imagined and he always looks forward to learning more. Everyone at ATA Chanhassen is like a big family...they encourage one another, help one another
