High Desert Yoga Studio
The mission of High Desert Yoga is to create a nurturing environment that supports our community of students and teachers as they deepen their experience of body, mind, and spirit. Our livestream classes and workshops have ended. The HDY building has been leased to the Albuquerque School of Healing Arts (ASHA), a new massage school, which will also offer in-person yoga classes to independent instructors.

You can participate in on-going livestream, in-person, or hybrid (both livestream and in-person) yoga classes offered indepently by some of our instructors. We have appreciated your efforts to redeem your classes before expiration since we are unable to offer refunds or credits for unused classes. We will continue to offer retreats locally in New Mexico, at Yoga del Pacifico in Troncones, Mexico, and other locations internationally.

Niki Feldman is a true professional! She concentrates on relaxing your body and not charging you to yak and yak. However when not massaging, she is a very warm and caring to talk too. Highly recommend!

Wow yelp deleted the 2 very negative reviews I just read about this studio. I appreciated those reviews. Re reviews remaining here: they don't give the whole picture. I won't be going back.

I've been coming here off and on for the last 15 years. Yoga was brand new to me when I started and from day one I have felt safe, protected, and well guided. I appreciate the judicious use of props and each instructor's dedication to meeting the needs of every individual student. Even when I can't make my usual classes I am at ease dropping in to other classes. I am encouraged to push myself, without ever being urged to go too far.

I spent hundreds of dollars on a 'gift certificate' as a surprise for my partner. After the birthday party, she was turned away because my hard earned money 'expired' after 30 days. It was a very humiliating experience on top of being robbed. Don't give these criminals your money or email address. They will spam you with offers relentlessly and have no shame.

Zoreh's restorative yoga with ropes class is mind boggling good. My mind cools, my neck and spine is long, and the brathe is easy

This is a very high quality yoga studio. They teach Iyengar based yoga and they have a rope wall, which I believe is the only place in town that does. I have not ever done a class that I didn't like.

I was pretty impressed with this place and happy to have found somewhere I can bring my baby and get a workout. My baby is a huge part of my life now and its not always easy trying to find someone to watch him while I work out. My workouts now days either consist of walking the baby in a stroller when its nice out, or getting in a quick workout video while he is playing or napping. I came here to attend the mom and baby yoga class and was very satisfied with the whole experience. It was my first time here and I found the parking lot nice and spacious as well as the whole ambiance of the studio

I took prenatal yoga here, starting rather late in my pregnancy. I felt the classes were very helpful and wholly positive. The atmosphere is welcoming and I felt encouraged to return. Avery is fantastic!

I chose High Desert Yoga for the prenatal classes, three weekly is more than any other studio I've found. For first time students you buy your first class $16 and get a second class free. After that you can buy discounted punch cards.

The studio is small, and the class was full. I agree with other reviewers, it got HOT! Hot and pregnancy don't mix well. Almost an hour into the class I was starting to feel nauseous and was going to leave, but one of my fellow students also spoke up and the teacher turned on the cooling system. Whew! (Next class I'm going to ask for the cooler

I came here for prenatal yoga. I got a package of 10 classes as you get a discount since the drop in rate is a bit high.

I have taken the class in Tuesday afternoon and in Saturday morning. Both of them are great.

I definitely recommend this studio. The room is big and though a bit warm still good. I just drank extra water which in the end is good for the baby.

Will continue attending for the duration of my pregnancy.

It's also a great place to meet other pregnant ladies :)

This place was very close to getting 5 stars! The only reason why I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it was a little too warm. The AC or swamp cooler was taking a long time to respond.

I went to a prenatal yoga class, which was awesome. They have tons of props to use to support growing bodies in many different poses. Avery the instructor was very helpful and had great modifications.

It is a little pricey. You can save some money by buying a package. Also they offer a student and teacher discount, which is awesome.

Was visiting my parents and wanted to get in a good yoga class. I am very partial to the classes I take in my area so of course was hesitant but have to say that Kim was amazing and really took the class to a whole new level for me. I loved his style and knowledge and appreciate him taking the time to work with the class and individuals on their practice. He was GREAT! I will definitely be back when I am in town. Thank you!
