We do not "hard sell" or pressure prospective students here at IronHide Academy. Most martial arts academies are not transparent regarding the costs of their programs. When you ask about the prices, they want to redirect the conversation and have you come in for a trial class. This is done, so they could hard sell you their lengthiest contract with lots of hidden fees, by pressuring you in person.

Great school. One of the oldest in the Loudoun area. Been around for over a decade. Has been renamed from Loudoun BJJ to IronHide Academy. Has 3 BJJ black belts and a ton of higher belt students. Also, a stable of current and former Muay Thai and MMA fighter train at IronHide. The school has recently relocated to a new facility. Best facility in Loudoun in terms of equipment.

IronHide Academy is one of the best Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Academies I have trained at. I've been in the sport on and off for almost nine years and moved to the area a year ago. The coaches are top notch, very skilled and patient in their instruction. I've observed the coaches in the kids class as well, and they are great with the kids. The facilities are amazing. Tons of mat space that are meticulously maintained. The back area has ample space for kickboxing, heavy bag work and strength and conditioning. I highly recommend IronHide Academy.

I can't write to the other programs they offer because I only do their full gi BJJ class. I've been training there a couple months. The instructors are all very laid back, approachable, and there's no ego. All the guys I've rolled with have been real cool about letting me work but also letting me understand how much more there is to know. I also like that one of the black belts is a judoka so he brings that angle some classes too. BJJ is popular right now so places can get expensive. I find the prices to be about on par with other places I checked and they are very fair about
