If you are new to our center and not sure where to begin, start with any Hatha Yoga class and register for Beginning Yoga Studies. Even though we have everything you need to start practicing yoga (mats, props etc.), we suggest bringing your own yoga mat. Wear clothing you can move and breathe in. Beginning Yoga Studies is a series of classes taught on Friday evenings or Saturday afternoons.
Yoga Therapy, complimentary and integrative with western medicine, addresses your specific concerns and conditions such as: chronic pain, anxiety, depression, injuries, limitations and illnesses, preventative care, pre- and post-op support and more. Dave Ashby, C-IAYT, E-RYT 500, certified by IAYT, will work with you individually to address the situation you are facing.
Reiki is a Japanese healing art known for its calming, balancing and stress reducing effects, which also promotes healing. After a brief consultation, clients will receive a full Reiki. A symphony of sound and Reiki healing transports you into a meditative state of wellbeing and insight. Vibrations from singing bowls move fluids through the body while Reiki healing.
This session uses light to firm gliding pressure into the muscle tissues with long strokes, kneading and circular movement. Suitable for anyone needing moderate therapeutic relief and or a stress reducing experience. Relax with soft lighting and harmonious music as you unwind the aches and pains of the day revealing a sense of inner peace and well-being.

I can't believe I haven't already written a review! The energy of this location is very healing.
Rise Yoga is lucky to have two of the best massage therapists I have ever been to see. Dale and Lori are both incredible. They are both experts in their field.
Lori- is a delight and helped me overcome sciatic pain. She was the first massage therapist to make me feel safe. She is able to specifically target my injured areas and help me reach a point of greater mobility and less pain. She is friendly, fun, and we always have a blast!
Dale- is a nurturer. She is able to help target the

I got the 2-week unlimited pass for $25 (for new members only) over the Thanksgiving holiday. I did both hatha and vinyasa flow classes. While it is a nice studio with caring instructors, I found the vinyasa classes not as challenging and "flowing" as I like (I tend to do Power Yoga classes). The classes were more relaxing and "yin"...which is great if that is the style you are looking for. Most of the people in the classes appeared to be older and retired - it definitely had a nice community feel to it. I would give it 5 stars if there were some Power Yoga classes offered!

My boyfriend and I both agree this is the best massage place in Sacramento. Was hurting and tried the massage here for kicks- really really great massage! Well worth the money. Will be booking again.
Cassidy is also my favorite yoga instructor now. Hatha yoga. I still am a child pose by default person when we get into the hard flows. Her classes are always different and challenging.
Also love the therapeutic yoga and yoga for flexibility.

I have been to many yoga studios and this place is not a yoga studio; it is more of a self care spiritual studio with some yoga mixed in. When I first came in I was not asked if I had any injuries but as a fitness professional myself, I thought, you know I'm going to volunteer that information, because you should have asked, but maybe my experience will be better if you know. She just kind of nodded and said ok with a shoulder shrug. Having no mobility in your right hip, not a shoulder shrug situation, but I know my modifications. if I were a client who didn't know modifications, well

Never done Yoga before, but my friend suggest to try it because it helps how she feels in the mornings. She lives close to this facility so and I decided to give it a try, and was surprised just how much better I felt from just the first visit.. The teachers were great and very understanding of the new rookie, Me. I'm going back soon.. look for further updates, but for now I'm really excited..

I did the new student 2 week special - I think it was $25. Although the teachers were all very nice, I feel it lacked connection between student and teacher. Unfortunately, only one of the 4 teachers greeted me and introduced them self to me before class. And perhaps the most disappointing was that not one teacher in two weeks asked about any physical issues, injuries, etc which I feel is key between student and teacher even at the most basic level. I just didn't feel 'seen'. And not one class focused on the breath or pranayama, which is the foundation to any yogic practice. All

Just came back from a Vinyasa Flow class thanks to Sacramento Free Day of Yoga.
This studio is BEAUTIFUL! Coming from a bikram yoga studio, this was definitely different to see with the nice wooden floors and the cooling ceiling fans. There were also tons of blankets, pillows, and other props to work with (when needed).
There's a parking lot, so no need to worry about street parking unless the lot is full.
There are two bathrooms available. When I went in, I was pretty confused since there were two stalls with dividers but no stall doors for privacy. Yeah... I didn't know what to

First time at a traditional yoga studio and I love it. I used to do bikram in Elk Grove but this summer is too hot for HOT YOGA. So I looked around and found this gem on Groupon. 10 classes for $29 dollars is a good deal.
I went to the beginner course (Hatha) and Laura was the instructor. She was very nice and went at a good pace. The class was an hour long.
I enjoyed the restorative stretches of the class. In the beginning the instructor asked if there was anything we would like to work on & depending on our answer she would have us do certain stretches for that particular area or injuries
