NEW CHILDREN - September was a busy month for new children! We would like to welcome Evie Gregory to the Infant class; Joshua Wilmouth and Aubrey Kitchens to the Bumble Bees; Lucas Bou Absi, Madison Holman, Kai Campbell and Dominic Lewis to the Tabby Cats!; Kaliope Karvounis and Zoey Ratcliffe to the School Agers.
REMINDERS- Make sure you let us know if your child will not be here on any scheduled day. We need to know so we can adjust staffing, meals, and other resources needed to make sure your children get the care they deserve (also it's required by regulations and policy). Phone calls directed to the center will automatically be forwarded to Darlene's cell after 6 rings, and emails are also acceptable.

Services
We're proud to provide information about the staff at Pooh Corner Child Care Center for you to see. After high school I attended Greensboro College where I majored in Special Education. More recently, I went to John Tyler Community College and received an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education.
We feel that environment is important in the learning process. Our classrooms are small and personalized by the individual teacher and children in that class. We strive for our infant class to be an extension of home. The infants set their own schedule and we work around their schedule and our families' schedules.
Pooh Corner should be able to contact you at any time during the day. The necessary information is given at the time of enrollment; however, you are required to inform the center if you encounter any type of address change, phone number change, change of employment, doctor's information, etc. immediately.
Pooh Corner is truly Hanover's best kept secret when it comes to childcare and early childhood education. I couldn't be happier with the education my son received there! His progress sky rocked when we enrolled him in Pooh Corner last November; he just started Kindergarten and we are very confident that he is ready for all the challenges he will face!
