Our Staples Mill location provides half-day preschool programs for: 2 1/2 year olds, 3 year olds, and 4/5 year olds. We strive to foster self-esteem and to make learning enjoyable for all of our preschoolers. Our students engage in a preschool literacy curriculum designed to incorporate pre-SOL standards.
They enjoy imaginative play, creative learning, and hands-on activities which include Math and Science. Handwriting Without Tears, a program aligned with Standards of Learning, is implemented in all of our classes. We also offer a high-level, whole language PRE-K program. Our second location, Mechanicsville, provides half-day preschool programs for both 3 year olds and 4/5 year olds.

Services
We use a curriculum which fosters self-esteem, takes the individual needs of each child into consideration, encourages respect for others, and provides a wide range of educational experiences for the child. Our directors are very aware of the SOL standards that must be met in the public school system.

I enrolled my kid in this school last fall in 2016 for a 3 year old program. This was the first school, he was going to. When I enrolled I was unaware of who will be his teacher. On the orientation program,we found out that his teacher had no experience handling preschoolers. She was a elementary school teacher and has taught only 5th graders. But we thought the directors wouldn't have chosen badly.
