Chef/Owner Lyndall Locke attended Le Cordon Bleu Texas Culinary Academy in Austin, Texas class of 2004. My introduction to the Culinary industry in 1998 was through Krazy Jim's Blimpy Burger, a University of Michigan student staple. Here, the demanding, fast-paced, adrenaline riddled atmosphere was also filled with artistic freedom and expression.

In our new nornal, and after this much time of doing without our usual workflows, we do have to find time to celebrate creativelty and safely. Originally, my 50th birthday party was planned for food trucks, lobster bakes and loads fo people in common spaces. COVID-19 changed all that. So we got creative and introspective. I asked myself and research well how I could celebrate, be safe, and not sacrifice a whole lot. So, we came up with the idea of renting an AirBnB and hiring a private chef. We chose Knotty Pine.

We celebrated a 70th birthday party with the help of Knotty Pine Catering. It was such a fun night. I, as the host, didn't have to worry about any of the food. They took care of it all. I could sit back and really enjoy the company. The food was amazing. They even made a special menu for the kids. I would highly recommend Knotty Pine Catering and I'm excited for the next reason to use them.

We had meals catered last weekend for a family graduation party and also a family baby shower. Both meals were absolutely delicious and the food was beautifully displayed. Our experience with Knotty Pine Catering was awesome! We celebrated my husbands 40th birthday with ~28 other guest and heard nothing but great things about the food all night and the following weeks after the event. Planning/customizing the menu was easy. The food was unique and tasty. The team was very professional. They were key in bringing the experience and vibe we wanted to life.

We hired Knotty Pine Catering two weekends in a row to cook for 10 guests in each event. They did a great job on both occasions, with great feedback from our guests. Menu planning was very easy, they do what they say they will do, the food was fantastic and their prices are very reasonable for the value delivered.
