The company was easy to work with. You could put together your own itinerary and they helped priced it for you and made all the reservations. They had lots of options to choose from. When we went on the trip, we always walked up to the counter and gave our names and we were on the list. It was that simple as we traveled. The tours were all excellent quality and what had been described in the information. We had an incredible time in Alaska made easy through Alaska Tour and Travel!

I can’t thank Karlyn enough for her support throughout the planning of our trip to Alaska. Her guidance and suggestion were perfect for the type of trip I wanted. Worst service I have ever had in my life! They have my reservation totally messed up. I've tried calling numerous times but, for some reason, my connection keeps on getting dropped. So, I have sent them emails trying to get things straightened out and have not received one response from them. I am taking a train from Anchorage to Denali and wanted… to ride upstairs in the dome car. When I got confirmation of my trip I noticed I was downstairs in the regular part of the car. I did manage to get through to them over the phone and get that changed. Then, I found out my hotel room, which was

My buddy and I took a vacation to Alaska and after buying our airline tickets found out there were no rental cars available in Anchorage! I did some searching and found Alaska Tour and Travel and they set us up with everything we needed.
We did the Glacier and Wildlife Day Tour by Van tour with Lori as our guide. What a blast! We got a cruise tour to the Portage Glacier, Went to Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center and saw animals being healed or in a program to reintroduce them to the wilds of Alaska .
Next we took a six-hour bus ride to Denali and were there for five days. We returned to Anchorage

This was a beautiful tour. I loved that we could alter the tour to our style. We had enough free time and choose our own eating arrangements. Staff got back to us in a timely manner, answering any questions. They chose excellent companies to take care of our vacation. Every person that we came in contact with seemed to enjoy their job. They did a great job helping us design the perfect trip to Alaska, it can be complicated due to hotels, train schedules, bus schedules, cruise schedules and other activities. I started of trying it myself and found this company to be extremely helpful . Our whole trip was perfect all connections were perfectly timed. We had a great trip visiting, Anchorage, Talkeetna and Seward. Do the train rides for sure they are awesome!

Wonderful company to use to experience Alaska Renea at Alaska Tour and Travel set up a great itinerary for us to experience Alaska. Everywhere we went and every activity we did was perfect, including the rental car. The hotels were wonderful and we really enjoyed the Fjord cruise, Denali bus tour, kayaking, and ATVing that she set up for us. It was… a relief not to worry about checking in anywhere. What a great experience and our 50th state that we have traveled! Alaska Tour & Travel was upfront and helped us with all our tour and event reservations. Their website had the details needed to book our trip. The train trips to Whittier, Denali and up to Fairbanks were wonderful and for the first time both of us were able to enjoy the scenery without worrying about the driving. I decided to plan my own family adventure to Alaska for the summer. There were no cruise options at the time of booking so we decided to plan out our own land based itinerary. We were three families coming from Los Angeles for our first trip to this state. I spent a lot of time researching different itinerary options and came across their website. Booking was a fiasco, website basically does not work, customer service was extraordinarily poor: Megan Alward needs to be retrained, flat out lied to us. Gave us the completely wrong time to arrive prior to… our tour, then lied to us again: refused to accept any responsibility for wasting our time early in the morning. Please give your staff basic training in customer service. Bus was decent, snacks were good, Eric our guide was good...overall if Megan hadn't ruined it this would have been nice.

It was so nice to just follow the itinerary and enjoy the beautiful sites and experiences. I can… honestly say that every single person at every place booked for us was wonderful. We loved the staff at the Gateway Hotel in Seward. The Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge was spectacular. The bus and train rides were awesome. The Kenai Fjords boat trip was unbelievable. We saw Orcas, Humpback and Fin whales and more! The K2 Aviation trip to Ruth Glacier amazing! Raft trip in Denali was fun

In June, 2018 I realized my dream vacation - Alaska! Heartfelt thanks to Alaska Tour & Travel. I knew I was in good hands! Everything flowed so easily. It was the best traveling experience I've ever had. We started in Fairbanks, moved on to Denali, Seward, and Anchorage. We traveled by the beautiful Dome train, bussed to deep in the heart of Denali and flew over the north face of Denali, the majestic. We flew by helicopter to the Yanert Icefield and walked on the glacier! We river rafted down the beautiful Nenana river, and cruised through the Gulf of Alaska to visit the Northwestern

They helped me book my trip to Alaska. There customer service was great. The tour my family chose was self guided, but with their trip information it went very smoothly! We saw so much during our 7 day adventure. Needing to get from Anchorage to Seward for a cruise, I booked a motor coach bus through Alaska Tour and Travel. I had no idea about the area and logistics, and so I made all arrangements by phone.
Phone calls were answered promptly and questions were answered with patience. How refreshing to not be put on a long hold, and to not have to go through a series of pushing buttons before getting to a live person.
I made a last minute change to leave on an earlier bus, which was no problem and they honored the reduced fare even though my reservation had already fallen into the non-cancellation window

I arranged an independent travel trip for my mother and I through Crystal at Alaska Tour & Travel. Crystal made excellent recommendations for activities for us and everything went smoothly. As a bonus, she also suggested a terrific hike for us to do while we had some free time prior to our dogsledding experience in Girdwood. I used Alaska Tour and Travel to book lodging, transportation, and excursions for an independent Alaskan trip in August 2013. Their website is nicely organized and has tons of information. I emailed them the itinerary I had in mind and they booked everything quickly. The were able to accommodate changes easily. Alaska Tour and Travel has great staff. If I lived in Alaska, I think I'd like to work for them!

Just returned from a trip to Alaska planned by Karen Hassel at Alaska Tour and Travel. The trip was an exciting experience, every day was filled with new and different things,, From the wild bears and moose in the national parks and also along the rail road tracks, to the whales & seals in the bays, Travel by rail is definately the best way to see the country, The Alaska Rail system is exceptional and enabled us to travel thru remote areas unaccessabel by car. We also flew out to a glacier and to a remove village,,, i would recommend you include these flights in any Alaskan trip. Everyday

Michelle at Alaska Tour & Travel recently made travel arrangements for a train trip from Anchorage, Alaska to Whittier, Alaska and then a boat tour (Phillips 26 Glacier Cruise) with a return to Whittier. What a helpful young lady this was. I am handicapped and she took the time to find out if the train and the boat were wheelchair accessible. (Which it is.) She also found out if there was a secure place to store our luggage before we were able to check into our Inn in Whittier. There was)) There was a very short time frame between the train arrival and the boat departure so this was imperative
